Message:		“My Greek scholars are more reliable than your Greek scholars.” The debate between people who believe that the Bible teaches “eternal torment,” and the people who believe that the Bible teaches “kolasis aionion” which means age-during corrective chastisement – this debate nearly always ends with each person saying, “My Greek scholars are more reliable than your Greek scholars.” And the end of the debate is nearly always a stalemate. Since this is so, should we not choose the belief that best glorifies the character of God Who is love in essence? Does it best glorify God to let anyone suffer forever, or does it best glorify Him to successfully influence people so they won’t suffer forever? For me the choice is a no-brainer.
