Message:   A week ago sunday, I went to a brittish car swap meet in Chicago looking foe a 3.9:1 or 3.72:1 differential. It turned out to be a dry run . Wednsday at work one of my co-workers showed me an add for a Bug Eye Sprite for parts, or restore for $500.oo. I called to see if the seller might part out the car, and he asked me what part I wanted. When I said that I was looking for a differential, he said he had a spare rear end that he would sell for $100.oo
Only 35 miles from home I found a 3.9 differential still swimming in 90 weight oil. I couldn't help but laugh about another brittish car owner having a spare parts car. I thought it was a Met thing, evidently it's a Brit car thing We had a sunny 72 degrees last Sunday, I cant wait untill all the salt gets washed off of the roads so I can get my Met out again.
