In LEO we reach the end of the Revelation as inspired in the Word of God; and it is the end as written in the heavens.

This is the one great truth of the closing chapter of this last Book. It is THE LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH AROUSED FOR THE RENDING OF THE PREY.

The brightest star, a (on the Ecliptic), marks the heart of the Lion (hence sometimes called by the moderns, Cor Leonis, the heart of the Lion). Its ancient name is Regulus, which means treading under foot.

Hi Calvin! You have hit the hammer right smack-dab on the carpenters thumb! Read Revelation 19 for the literal sign of Leo the Lion with the Sickle coming out of His mouth; I believe right after the great tribulation, when we return with Christ, all of us on white horses, and Jesus Christ as the cmmander-in-chief; He will destroy all those armies gathered at the valley in Israel which is called Armegeddon, with a two-edged sword coming out of His mouth to slay His enemies; You might have to help me out here Calvin, isn't there a scripture in the gospels where Jesus is on the Mt. of Olives discussing the end times and He mentions that after the tribulation there will appear a sign in the heavens of the son of man when He is ready to return? I believe that sign in the heavens is in the constellation of Leo the Lion who has a sickle(sword) coming out of His mouth.

Good catch Calvin! Sounds very significant, not only a red moon eclipse on 2/20/08 but the simultaneous positioning at the bottom of the sickle of Leo has got to be a huge sign. Also, this is the third red moon eclipse in a year's time. Getting pretty intense.

I believe these are the 2 portions of scripture you are talking about. I particularly
found it VERY, VERY INTERESTING how you brought in Revelation 19. Even
though it doesn't use the word, "SICKLE", in that chapter, it DOES say something
EVEN MORE INTERESTING:

..."COME, GATHER TOGETHER FOR THE GREAT SUPPER OF GOD"

To me, the word "GATHER" has to do with a "SICKLE" because that is the way
it was done!!! ALSO, it CERTAINLY sounds like it will be a "BLOODY HARVEST":

...18 so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and mighty men, of horses
...and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, small and great."

Hi Calvin! This is a great thread you have here going on while I snack on my micro wave popcorn; I believe the sword that comes forth from the mouth of our conquering Savior is a word that is interchangeable with the word sickle; you might want to do a word study on that, if you have time; but I do think that the star sign of Leo with the typical sickle shape configuration of stars in the constellation is an ancient type or rendering of the sign of the Lord returning at the end of the age with a sharp sword(sickle) issueing out from His Mouth(which is the Word of the Living God); whereby He will smite all His enemies. What say you--my dear wonerful brother!

THANKS!!! I believe you "SEE" something that the rest of us may NOT and you are CORRECT!!!

This "SIGN" on Wednesday night, I believe, is probably "SPEAKING" to
the "warmongers" of our day!!!!!!!! It could ONLY be doing that!!!

And...

What I did was google the words: sword sickle Jesus. Here are two articles
which REALLY reinforce this "type" thinking!!!!!!!!!!!

Below are URL's so that you may see the BEST viewing of the Blood Red
Eclipses of 5/15-16, 2003 and 2/20-21/08. They are 59 moon cycles apart
(or 29.53 X 59 days apart) which means eclipse # 1 (which occurred as the
US was finishing its invasion of Iraq) and eclipse # 60 are only actually
minutes apart and BOTH are / were perfect viewing for our East Coast.
By EST time, the MID ECLIPSE of eclipse # 1 was at 10:40 p.m. EST (even

I will be going outside to watch this event and when it is at it's fullest (they say between 10 and 11 PM EST here) I will think of you all.

If any of you are out there watching...lets meet in our hearts and mind. I just e-mailed our Sister Bonnie and thought of this and now am thinking of you all. It would be a wonderful idea...for us to meet and then to pray...

Please keep Lynn in your prayers as well Geri her husband and Brian her brother. They all need your prayers.

Please keep little Justin in your prayers as well those here that have become ill these last few weeks with flu or that horrible resportory infection.

Please keep Kathy in your prayers that nothing will come of the area they want to assess after her mammogram.

Please keep RITA in your prayers..that for all the Brothers and Sisters here that their needs and prayers are answered.

I feel small in requesting what I have been in so much prayers over..so just ask God to hear me (I know He does) I just need some results (my life and future and concerns, my son and his future, my daughter...etc.). It's very hard doing it alone and not seeing or knowing about the future.

God knows each of us...I will be praying for you all too!

Will be going outside at 9:30pm canadian time. For some strange reason I REALLY don't want to miss this. I have never been like this before where an eclipse is concerned. Hubby is not home so I will be taking my daughter too to witness this awesome sign in the heavens. I will be in prayer and agreement for all mentioned. Bless everyone bunches!

I don't know why either...but I too am excited to see this. It is sooooo clear outside and the moon right night is big and very bright. The stars are shining but it sure is coooolddd outside.

Yes many are supersticious about these kind of things. Way way back in time people were terrified of such events. Not sure about warewolves though...lol. I think they come out for full moons weather normal or red ones...joking.

I think I am excited to see the amazing creation of the planets, moon, stars doing amazing things...God's amazing creation in action! And I do believe they are signs for us....in the stars and planets and moon and sky.

Just went out and took a peek it has already started. As Brenda said it's way toooo cold outside. The sky is clear and we might even get to see the comet Holmes. My daughter is taking pictures in each phase.
This so cool guys. I feel like a giddy teenager.

I had to come in for a few mintues to warm my toes...lol. It is soooo beautiful and I have my binoc's on and viewing it all and freezing and praying and praising and thinking and praying with you all...joining you all here right now outside watching...us the RITA WATCHERS!

I pray that the Rapture is soon, very soon.
I love you all...praising God for us being a family here.

Great view of the eclipse here in the Northwest. It was suppose to be cloudy tonight but is clear. This eclipse is not as red/orange as the one early this year but is still awe inspiring.

The two bright spots close to it are Regulus and Saturn.

Even more awesome is that God has a name for every star!
