when i changed the ateering damper on my 110 it stoped it from jumping all over the road when i hit a bump. it didnt make it harder to turn. Then i notice a worn steering joint (Track rod end) so i replaced the 3. Just make sure you messure the distance to a set point befroe you remove them and fitt the new ones to the same mesurements and hey presto |

Hi, You have probably sorted this by now. Just to say that I fitted a steering damper to my S111 109 and it completely removes all the kick back through the wheel when driving over bumps and ruts. The steering is heavier at parking but no difference once you get moving and you soon get used to it. I would certainly recommend fitting one. Get the proper steering link and bracket and it all just bolts up - lovely! Cheers |
