Message:		true true erin. I have one horse that will pick up the difference between an opening performance, then i can switch back to the normal trick riding in the same show, and the others won't do that. I do use blinders when i trick ride because it signals that that's what I want from him that time, and I don't use them when I do the opening. It just depends on the horse but if you don't give them some cue, however slight it is, I would expect confusion and frustration.
