I just watched "Hav Plenty" again, probably for the 40th time. There is no black oriented movie that touches me as much. That film was the "black Woody Allen movie" I waited my whole life to see. Sadly, eight years later I'm still waiting for another of its like.

What I loved about the movie, other than seeing my former schoolmate in it, was the name and diva-esque personality of 'Haviland'...so much so, in fact, that I named my daughter after her, changing the spelling slightly to make her an "orignial"...lol

BTW, Reggie, just saw you on Law and Order (SVU I think it was)...good stuff. You should put on a little show at the next NCSSM reunion...
