Re: Let's all introduce ourselves!
Hi, I'm Lyndsey. I purchased two sisters from a Maggie/Zip Jan '07 litter from Camie. Rylee and Daffie are absolute joys. They are total opposites in looks and personality. Rylee is quite timid, sneeky, quite rough when she plays, but the gentlest with people and puppies. Rylee was choosen for her looks. Rylee has a gorgeous head and a coat just like Zip's. She's our heaviest Golden at 80 pounds, but also our shortest! Daffie was choosen for her temperment, and she was exactly what I was looking for! She has a true Golden personality. She stays right beside almost all the time! She's more dominant and confident than Rylee and has a little more spunk. Daffie loves the water! They both love playing, especially with one another and tennis balls! They are two of our five dogs, we love them all in their own ways!

Re: Let's all introduce ourselves!
Hi, I'm Vanessa - in Powhatan, Viginia.
Years ago my husband and I purchased our first Golden in Florida! They have always been our absolute favorite dog! After having him only 3 years, our family was moving to VA, and Major would not be able to come along :(.
2 years ago, we decided that it was the Golden Time to "do it again!" We purchased Charlie Hooper from Camie, after (THANKFULLY!) tumbling across her ad on a breeder's website listing. Charlie was from Dandy's first litter (with Jake). We could NOT be more thrilled with Charlie!! He is a LOVE ... PERFECT in every way!!! :) His temperment, disposition, personality, EVERYTHING, is more than we could have hoped for.
We've been so thrilled with Char that we just traveled to Camie's again to pick up our second Golden charm, Claire Reese (from Zip and Halle). She is precious!
Camie, I'm so thrilled that you are starting this!! Your LOVE for the Goldies and your years of experience are going to make this message forum the BEST!!! *Of course, I'm probably biased, but that's ok!!
Looking forward to seeing more!
Blessings!

Re: Let's all introduce ourselves!
My husband, and our three boys (14 yrs, 11 yrs and 4 yrs) and I were heartbroken when we had lost our lab in October to some form of cancer. My youngest every day even months later wanted to know if his Missy Girl was well enough to be coming home. It didn’t matter how many times or explanations that she’s in doggy heaven he wanted her back. So we decided that we wanted another special creature in our life that’s when we found Church Mountain Kennel.
We met Camie couple of months ago when we were looking for a puppy. It was the first of the year when she was starting to have her several litters being born. It was fun and exciting to check every morning to see if the puppies were born. Then we looked forward to pictures. Camie has kept us up to date every since the puppies were born. We chose a boy from Zoe and Jake born on January 6th. I personally have never had a boy dog but my husband has. I really wanted a girl so I didn’t feel outnumbered in my house of all boys. But, I of course was outnumbered and everyone else wanted a boy. So, we picked out our boy which we named Ovie. Yes, one might think that is a strange name but all my boys play ice hockey. Ovie is named after their one of their favorite players Alex Ovechin.
We picked up Ovie when he was 7 weeks old. He has seemed to adjust to us quite well. He sleeps thru the night in his crate and has done so almost since we have brought him home. He is pretty much house broken with occasional accident here or there. He likes to look at the puppy in the dishwasher reflection. He is now 12 weeks old and keeps getting bigger. He is in that chewing and biting stage which is hard. Everything goes in his mouth. I am reading anything I can to try to help with it. I am also learning about having a boy dog. Any suggestions would be great.
Thank you Camie for putting this altogether and I look forward to hearing from and meeting other people that also loves Goldens.

Re: Let's all introduce ourselves!
Hi, I am Debbie. We purchased our first Golden from Camie last summer. Daisy Mae is our golden and she was born in June 07 from Jake and Josies litter. We adore her and Church Mountain kennel. Camie is wonderful and we adore all her goldens and my daughter and i keep CLOSE watch on Camies website and keep up on all the goldens there and are amazed at how they grow so beautiful!! We love to keep track of them by website!
Daisy is a sweet heart....sometimes i think she is too sweet, if that is possible.....she can be timid around other dogs.....she is such a people person!! She loves to play ball, she LOVES peanut butter and she LOVES to ride in the car!! We adore her and look forward to adding more Goldens to our family in the NEAR future!!! We also hope to breed Daisy in a year. I am sure i will need LOTS Of coaching....hint, hint, Camie!!

Re: Let's all introduce ourselves!
Oh Debbie...Thank you!!! With her never being around other dogs..you need to find people in your neighborhood who do have dogs and start socializing her(sp?).
She can't be skitish when it comes to breeding ok.

Re: Let's all introduce ourselves!
we are working on it!! Just moved into an area that is neighborhood oriented....we were living on a farm and more rural area , so it has been hard...thou we have taken her to some puppy classes.....we are meeting more neighbors here and trying to get together with friends with dogs and taking her sometimes.......we have LOTS of work to do with getting her more socialized with dogs! thanks
