Hi Eck,
Personally I would not get aroused by women - I have a male partner now - though I have been married to a woman in the dark days. 
The open legs are just natural, and the same situation would apply to males on the beach with open legs. The point of naturism, to me anyway, is you can just be yourself without having to worry about what other people think of you, and without having to worry about people ogling at you or trying to pick you up.
I would be very careful in this situation because whilst there is a possibility that the female may be looking for intimacy, the chances are more likely she is simply relaxing and enjoying a breeze in that area. You could end up in big trouble if you walk about with a big stiffy on the beach in the UK because of the way the law is worded.
Naturism isn't explicitly illegal, but where there is a sexual content, it can become so, and could end up quite serious, involving the sex offenders register.
On the whole, you'd be well advised not to look directly if you think you would get aroused, and in any case, don't get caught looking.
Not wishing to put you off the idea of naturism, just providing some friendly advice. 
I'd be interested to hear the female point of view if any wishes to comment.
 Take it easy and enjoy the good weather, naturally.
