Hello Mark,
If you (or any other readers) live close enough to the beach to visit again, I wonder if you might be able to help?
I was in contact with the owner Michael Dudgeon two years ago, and I wrote an article about the beach in the BN magazine, with his consent, to try and publicise the naturist aspect of the beach. He opened the whole campsite up to naturists for a week in 2006. However, since the article was published I have been unable to contact Michael. The wardens that take the money for the camping should be able to direct you to him. Last I heard he was living in the big house just off the main road at the start of the Crakaig road. The wardens when I were there were living onsite at the south end, just above the naturist beach. They were nice people, but they may have looked like travellers lol.
Michael had put up signs saying where Naturism is permitted, but someone kept taking them down, so perhaps there is some local opposition.
Unfortunately, I live too far away (250 miles) to go and check things out personally, so if anyone local could check and report back it would help greatly.
