The grey rocks you mention have been there for centuries, they are the by product of Iron smelting.
As for the rubbish, it's mainly stuff thats been washed up from the sea, other beaches nearby get the full council cleanup treatment but Ardeer for some reason is left out, (are the people that use this beach not tax payers too?).
I am all for cleaning up this very long beach would be nice if the EEC helped fund this. |
