Message:   I am looking at a new 39' 2003 kountry coach diesel pusher and the 2004 pricing is going up 10%, so the 2003 sure is tempting to close on. It does not have heat pumps, it has 2 13.5 Penguin AC units. I have heard people say it is nice to have heat pumps when plugged in at campground when it is not real cold, you can just use the electric rather than your propane. And nice to have when driving when it is cold to warm up the motorhome since the dash heat can be marginally useful. So it seems this is in the nice, not necessary cateogy? I dont plan to be using the MH in really cold weather, maybe some days in "cool" weather, like overnight lows in the 40-50s, warmer during the day such that heat wont be needed. We had a motorhome before without heat pumps and we survived just fine, maybe I am making too much out of this. Maybe this is just a "resale" issue?

Thanks in advance... Bob
