Archbald Cancer awarness run/walk
This should be a tremendous event with some very good runners for a great cause I would appreciate it if your schedule is not to busy at 9 am on August 9th If everyone who possibly could attend would please go. |

I also encourage anyone who could attend this event to do so. Anyone who knows the Stefursky family knows that they are great people; Some of the friendliest people I know. If you don't know the Stefursky's, just come to show your awareness for cancer. Every single person contributes to helping find the cure for cancer. So like I said, please participate in this event if possible. |

Just got back from this race... Cangrats are due to all involved....especially race director Lisa Stefursky and her family. The race was well run, started on time, lots of pre and post race drinks and food, great course, big turnout of runners. For a first year event to go this well is a real testament to everyone involved.

I just wanted to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who both participated and helped with this event. My sister is my best friend and I couldnt think of a better way to honor her fight!! The support was amazing and the turnout was something I would have never imagined! Hammer -- Thanks for rounding up the boys and making the run fun for our girl! I hope everyone enjoyed themselves and I hope to see everyone back next year so we can show support to someone else in need. I'll do my best to get some results posted tomorrow... As for the "hairpin" turn, We'll work on that for next year! |

Whoever measured it did a great job. Spot on with the distance. Good to see that they cared about that. Maybe next year for the turn you could have a large semi-circle of cones in that intersection to run around. Try to ease it up, haha I was walking going around that turn. |

After talking to Ann and Pat Mcmahon after the race I realized how much we runners take our health for granted. To see both of these runners work thru their illness and the joy they have being able to run again really was a wakeup call for me.I will never whine again about how I am not as fast as I was.I am happy to be healthy and doing the best I can.As long as I can get out there and run is good enough for me.Keep up the good work Ann and Pat. |

Well said, Hammer. We are truly a family that takes care of its own. Saturday's event was like a family reunion with my long time runner friends, and many friends I've yet to meet. Lance said it's not about the bike; for us, it's not about the clock, not when you get right down to it. Ann and Pat bear testimony to that. It is you who are our inspiration. |

Great job Lisa and volunteers! I love that the course went on the trail and the weather you ordered was perfect. Anne, you are one tough Husky. It was great to see my Husky teammates! Lisa, hope you were not too tired and enjoyed your bachelorette party! Sorry, I could not stay. I was thinking about you at a place called "Dukes" in Harrisburg! I survived the duathlon today! Hope to see you all again soon. |
