Berwick Hustle AR
In May I registered for the Aug. 2-3 Berwick Hustle Adventure Race, a 2-day event that's part of the River Towns Race Series. Their web site hasn't been updated since April 27, so I wrote to the original contact asking for additional information. I've heard nothing back since late May so I'm wondering if anyone out there knows anything about this race? |

I had also been trying to get info for this event since it was listed, to no avail..... All I get is "page not available" when I click on the link, and my emails had gone unanswered as well. Too bad, really.... It could have been a great event if things had been put together properly. Let's hope it gets resolved and in the works for next year. |

The day before the race I received an email from the Montour Recreation Board saying the race was cancelled. I was surprised and disappointed in the lack of communication since other River Towns races were excellent. I know organizing an adventure race is much more work than most events, but I'll take a wait and see approach regarding their claim it will be held next year. Fortunately, they're refunding the $75 entry fee. |
