Because of complaints by a number of site viewers, at the Blue Gray Show the Board of Directors voted unanimously to institute a code of conduct. This is not done without a lot of conversation. This is not censorship, per se, but a means of making our site a venue where young and old, Rusty Bunch members and guests, can share ideas, experiences about dumping and the memories we have of dump trips, canology, and good times we have shared with others.
There are only two rules that need to be honored.
1. No foul language, inappropriate photos, or pornographic references.
2. Personal attacks on other site users are not welcome. This includes attacks on both Rusty Bunch members and non-members.
Following offense: 1 year to indefinite depending upon board decision.
HOWEVER: extreme offenses (vicious personal attack or slander) may require unique treatment (as decided by the board).
Non Rusty Bunch members get 1 warning, 2nd offense results in 1 year suspension.
Length of time for warning: 6 months. If some one is a chronic offender, the board may take action as needed.
These are not punishments we look forward to meting out. If people adhere to good taste and common sense, and use the site for fun, no one will be bounced.
