Hi! I suggest that you try a shawl or some sort of wrap, maybe cashmere or brushed cotton or wool, something rather luxurious feeling with a bit of a sheen, but something that would still bring a bit of warmth. A shawl would be perfectly acceptable, as the Mother of the Groom. Just mention it to the Bride's Mother and maybe you can both wear one. This way it looks nicely coordinated. You may also want to choose a color that is sutble that coordinates with your outfit. But either way, I am sure that you will look fantastic and still be comfortable!

Ps: One note- make sure that the Bride is aware that you are planning on wearing a wrap, so that she can order your floral tribute accordingly - you wouldn't want to crush the beautiful corsage pinned to your dress lapel.
