Took Larry to the UCLA Emergency Geatrics Medical Center at noon today. It's now 8:00, my daughter Sheri and I just got back.

Larry's very weak. He's being evaluated re: his sleep orders, etc. Emergency admitted him to the hospital til at least Monday.

Thanks for all your prayers, dear ones . . I pray, pray, pray for a solution. Larry needs to sleep.

Sheri's been here for 2 weeks, a total
God-send. Tomorrow she's flying back home to Kansas City. Larry had a hard time saying good bye to her.
Sheri, me, and Larry all cried today in the hospital saying good bye.

Hopefully, Sheri will move in with us before the end of the year. She wants to move in, we want her here with us. Sheri just needs to take care of her many obligations, selling her house, etc.

I feel blessed I can share with you all what's going on. These last 5 weeks have been hugely traumatic.

Donna I have you and Larry on my prayer list so I will continue to pray until I know everything is settled and fine for you both.

I will also pray for Sheri, that her plans will work out fine.

Sorry to hear that Larry had to be re-admitted to the hospital, but praying that they will be able to diagnose the problem and be able treat him successfully. I know you all have to be so tired and worried. Praying for all needs and concerns for all of you.

Sorry I dont really know the circumstance but have you guys tried like a naturalpath or something? Like maybe he's defficient in something or??? I just know my mom had lots of different symptoms and the doctors just kept perscribing medications to her. 20 years later a person from a more natural place pinpointed exactly her issue that had started, then snowballed into a bunch of 'conditions' for 20 years.

Larry's still in the hospital being evaluated and tested. He's lost weight, doesn't need to lose anymore. HE's 6'1", and weights 165 lbs.

Thank you for staying with me in prayer and intercession, it means so much to me and Larry.

Dear Donna, Larry and family--

Praying that God reveals to the doctors the root cause of Larry's sleep disorder. Dementia and depression can be involved but it's hard to know which came first to get the treatment that works best without creating other side effects, too.

Heavenly Father in the name of your Son, Jesus, our Jehovah Rapha, we petition you for answers to Larry's problem. Please reveal the nature of this problem so Larry can get the sleep he so badly needs. Your children need Your intervention. I plead the Blood of Jesus to completely protect and guard and cover Larry as he attempts to find out how to deal with this problem. I lift the entire family to You requesting Your Presence, peace and love to shelter this entire family in Your Grace and Mercy as they cope together in support and love of Larry.

Thank you Lord for all You do for us. Your love is so amazing and awesome all the time. We gratefully acknowledge our great love for you as we all seek answers to help Larry in his time of need. Asking all this in the mighty name of Jesus, Our Savior and Lord. Amen

Larry is still being evaluated. He slept on and off for a total of 2 hours last night.

Donna, I'm glad he is still in the hospital being evaluated. 2 hours sleep is so little. I would rather see the hospital send Larry home when he's able to sleep at least 4 hours a night. Yes, Lisa, that's exactly why Larry's STILL in the hospital . we don't want him coming home the same way he went in.

I believe that Larry's insomnia could be related to a potassium/magnesium deficiency.

I would not physically be alive if I had relied upon the medical community to heal me.

Please email me and I will tell you how God healed me through His leading and revealing many things to do nutritionally.

I know what sleep deprivation is as I have been through it years ago myself.

The thing is ...if Larry's condition is a mineral defiency, then no amount of traditional approach will heal him. Dr. Mercola recently had an article about the seriousness of sleep deprivation leading to very serious mental/ and physical health problems.

I will continue to pray for you both.

Ya know, Larry has gone through lots of tests. Every time all his vital signs show good. All blood tests came back negative.

I just talked with Larry, he said he believes he slept more than 2 hours, said he's feeling better.

At home, there were times he said he felt better, and then later in the evening not so good.

Oh, may it be so, Larry will improve. The family is going in for a consultation regarding his medicine tomorrow morning.

Keep praying dear ones, I love you all.

Donna sis ~ You and Larry have a wonderful family! What a call to service and sacrifice, that your son and daughter are moving in to help you! That they would have the heart to drop everything and put their lives on hold to become your's and Larry's helping hands, is the greatest blessing, and the Lord will repay them for their love, loyalty and committment to you both, which is the honoring of their parents.
