Last night's judge was very tough, but I came to learn and I did learn.

1. I usually don't crop enough.
2. It is possible to crop too tight.
3. Dead center is a no-no.
4. Watch the shadows on faces.
5. A beautiful landscape isn't competition quality unless it has a distinct subject (not everything).
6. Landscapes need to have a unique aspect otherwise they are just vacation shots.
