Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: JAPUNX MUSIC

The Merry Pranksters were formed around Ken Kesey's group exploration of psychedelic drugs. He wrote One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and through its success bought property in La Honda and gathered a loose group of people around that, through their travels and wild activities they provided much of the fuel for the larger movement in the mid-to-late 60's. La Honda was home to the Acid Tests and the Merry Pranksters traveled cross-country in their psychedelic bus, blasting music and ingesting large amounts of drugs.

Hi Zzaj

Yes your tracks are really cool, my fav. is freedom song. I did'nt think your stuff was so improvised !!! freedom song sounds like Can (experimental prog. rock 70's, German band) have gone to New York with the jazzy style drums. Also re the Merry Pransters, they were a band / performance group info here: http://www.lib.virginia.edu/exhibits/sixties/kesey.html

seems to be loads of sites about them, they reformed and came to the UK in 1999 with 'the' bus and toured the uk ending up doing a performance at the time of the Cornwall full eclipse, (the only one in the uk during our lifetimes).

keep on rockin

Hmmm... doesn't sound like the acid I had (but then, that was way back in thee '70's)...

NICE mix, driving beat, psych-rap verzure.

Not bad! If you like rap anyway, this will DO IT for you!

It'd be great driving music for Route '66 (my how times have changed).
