All Madden -- Coed Holiday Bowl Champions!

i9 Sports of Houston held the first annual Holiday Bowl on a very chilly Saturday morning, December 9th, at the Memorial Park Rugby Fields. The coed 8-on-8 division saw some intense and exciting flag football games and, at the end of the day, All Madden were crowned champions.


Who was on the roster? I thought Vela was going on IR? How did they beat Matt Van Gundey?

We only lost one game and it was to All-Madden by 3 points.It was just a 4 game round robin amongst 5 teams with no playoffs, so we never got a chance at revenge. Rumor has it that Vela was not selected for all tourney by his teammates at state because many teams felt they they got 4th in-spite of Vela and not because of Vela dumping 1 yard passes to his blocking backs who produced big gains, so I want to nominate vela for co-ed MVP since he reportedly sent an email ripping his teammates since they did not vote him all-tourney.Congrats Vela- no emails please....
