SORE League Week Three

Thank you for posting on the SORE League. It is fantastic that so many people have now joined. I hope you have a successful and happy year of running!

Hayley, we don't want you to start crawling! Take it easy to begin with and build the mileage up slowly. Longer distances require strength and stamina. You want to be able to enjoy it too! :relaxed:

Remember as this is a social league that you can earn extra points by baking a cake and sharing it with your running mates after a run! :cake:

You can access the latest SORE League by clicking here: Latest SORE League
Points are awarded for every run of 10 miles or more as follows:

10 up to 13 miles: 0.5 point
13 up to 16 miles: 1 point
16 up to 20 miles: 1.5 points
20 up to 26 miles: 2 points
26 up to 30 miles: 3 points
30 miles and over: 4 points

Maximum points score for a single run is 4.
Providing home-made cake after a social run or other valuable services to running: 0.5 point

Hi sue thankyou 😁 I'm actually half marathon training and it's in the plan from Karen I had every intention of doing the planned 10 miles last week unfortunately my running buddy was not herself.... This week Sunday I hope to smash the 10 miles and get in the SORE league!!

10 steady miles over to Pegston hills from Ickleford for me this morning. Thank you Sue 😊

28.4 miles for me today. It was meant to be 27.7 miles along the Sandsjobacka Trail in the hills (and mud) outside of Gothenburg, Sweden, but some of the locals and I got slightly lost. Will add post and pics later.

11.2 miles this morning, Stotfold, Letchworth and Baldock. I have the run logged on strava if you need proof.

4 scoring runs for me this week:

Tuesday: 10 miles
Wednesday:13 miles
Friday: 10 miles

All of those in lovely Sherwood Forest

Then on Sunday another 10 miles before XC

14 dull and dark miles for me today - Baldock loop then Hitchin and back.

It was slow (very slow) and it wasn't pretty but it was 10.5 miles :grimacing:
