I am reading the Brewing for Victory book courtesy of John S (thanks John and sorry I am reading at a snails pace).



Overall I like the book and get the point - beer is extremely motivating and at the core of British society. Makes me think the second part of "We shall never surrender" is "Our Ale".

Speaking of Winston Churchill - here is a great quote (I believe it is an early quote and is with respect to Winston tossing back a few too many in the view of his blind date):

“'You are drunk Sir Winston, you are disgustingly drunk. 'Yes, Mrs. Braddock, I am drunk. But you, Mrs. Braddock are ugly, and disgustingly fat. But, tomorrow morning, I, Winston Churchill will be sober.”
