My nephew (who has found dumps for me before ,the lava field dump) found a dump , off old rt 66
45 miles west of Albuquerque. Told me hundreds of old cans , even brought a few home to show me , a 50s Falstaff and a Mission soda can. I met him out there this morning and sure enough its exactly what he said it was. It proablly was a deep roadside tourist dump that the highway department bulldozed years ago. The good thing is they bulldozed it down the side of a hill. Found of all things an Oertels 92 (gold) flat top and some Walters bock flats , both of which Ive never dumped before. Tough digging but every now and then hit pockets of "color" for some good stuff , Lots of Coors of course and oil cans too. Spent a couple hours digging and will bring the attendees of the Roadrunner chapter show there this coming Friday
