Yes, I have replaced my front TV twice. The first time with a 23 inch LCD that was HD ready (no digital tuner) that one is now my monitor on my desktop computer. I now have a 26 inch LDC with digital tuner built in for HD.
A pic wouldn't help unless I took the tv off the mount and that is more trouble than I am willing to go to! LOL

I mounted a regular wall bracket in the old TV hole with 2x4s screwed into the wooden sides of that cabinet. My 26 inch just hangs on that and in front of the wood surround from the old TV.
