OH WOW , Lisa ! What a great post Sis .....this did me worlds of good .
The Lord is speaking to my heart ...I do not do well in adversity ....I am no coffee bean ...I get sad and feel very sorry for myself which is not GROWTH in the Holy Spirit , I cry and act like a baby . I needed this and I am going to always remember this , in fact write it down and read it each day as a REMINDER !
I want to be THE BEAN !

Thank you for your responses, everyone! I really enjoyed reading them.
There are exceptions, of course, but I have a feeling that we are not going to achieve that coffee bean status until we reach our perfected state in heaven. As it is written:
Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. Phillipians 1:6
