Hi Jonathan,

Thank you for such a wonderful and inspiring post that ministered me considering all the trials I too have been through physically and emotionally the last couple of years. God did teach me to trust and depend on him and not in my own strength and sufficiency. I had to learn to let go of many things that were not fruitful in my life and God did and still is purifying me in the fire to become what he wants for me and not what I wish for myself. I have died to self and he is my guide because he knows me more than I know myself and knows perfectly was is best for me. The bible verse that you spoke of above 2 Corinthians 12:9 is the one that I have had to cling to and hold to the Lord's promises. God will be glorified when we are weak. God is Good! Amen!

Dear Angel Wings, the hardships that you have gone through have refined you like gold. You have such a compassionate heart, and I know it's because of what you have suffered.

The pictures and scriptures really touched my heart.

My dear Lisaleenie,

For you so understand my struggles and where I was coming from because of what you have had to endure for God's purpose. You have such a beautiful and compassionate heart and I have always been drawn to you because you gave me so much strength in your posts when I was a lurker and I admired your perseverance and I would say to myself, Wow... She is an amazing child of God.. You woke me up and made me reflect in myself and how to keep things in perspective for the Glory of the Lord. I get it now!!!

Also, the special word that Morningstar had for us yesterday, really ministered to me and it blessed me because I know in my heart that God is pleased with us Lisaleenie.. He is pleased with our fight of faith that we are running to get to the finish line and let no man steal our crown that we will be casting at our Lord's feet in thanksgiving and praise to him. I cannot wait for that moment to come!!

The bible verse that Jonathan shared was the promise that I held on to and still hold on to till this day. I thank God every day for my blessings and I thank you Lord for this trial because I have learned so much and all that I go through is so that you Lord and your Kingdom will be glorified. Use me as you will for your divine purpose for I know in Heaven, Lisaleenie, you and I will understand the answers to our questions that we have posted to the Lord and everything will come full circle, because God is the Almighty and He is the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings. The bottom line, it is not about us, it is about the Lord and his purpose in us to fulfill his will on earth.

Oh, dear Angel Wings, your words of kindness and encouragment really touched my heart. I am so humbled that my posts were an encouragement to you when you were a lurker. You have no idea what it means to me to hear that. I have always wanted my trials to have a redemptive value on others in order to encourage them, and you just confirmed that to me. Thank you, dear sister, for that.

Yes, the Psalm 84 and words of encouragement from Morning Star came from the Lord and really ministered to me like it did you. God is so good! He wants to let us know that He is with us and that we are not alone in our struggles.

I pray that the Lord gives you strength in what you are going through right now. I pray that He fills you with His lovingkindness and tender mercies, and gives you peace that passes all understanding. In Jesus precious Name.

And I couldn't believe the song you picked out for me...."You are my Hiding Place." Wow. I haven't heard that for years. I listened to it right now with tears in my eyes. I love that song, and has helped me through some hard times. Thank you, dear sister!

Heaven in a canoe. Beautiful! I know that had to be inspired by the Lord. That lake looks so very peaceful, and I love lakes. I would like my home in heaven to be overlooking a lake or a waterfall because I love nature. I could sit outside for hours, being mesmorized by the beauty of it.

And the angel playing the violin. Wow!!!!! I couldn't believe that the Lord put it in your heart to post that! There is a touching and amusing story behind that, and one day I will share it with you.

Yes, many of us are going through our own trials and all we can do is pray for one another. Through fellowshipping here on RITAN we gain strength and wisdom because the Body of Christ is anointed through the Holy Spirit.

One example of this, is Jonathan's devotions that he posts daily. I read them daily and I gain courage and strength from the words of encouragement he provides us. Thank you Jonathan my dear brother!!!! What would we do without you. You are a blessing to all here..
