In the morning when I rise "Give Me Jesus" is the beginning lyrics of this beautiful song. How wonderful it is to be blessed to have a Lord we can come and worship to in the early morning and throughout the day.
We have a choice either what the World and the temporary things it offers or Jesus who represents the eternal life.
Life is temporary but the soul is eternal. Furthermore, the temporary things of this world will quickly fade and die away.
Do we make time for God or are the things of this world more important? The wise choice is to place God first in our lives over everything else.
God will be so happy to know that we have chosen Him over the World. When we take up our cross daily we are serving the Lord graciously. I have included a very important and interesting Article below titled " Do Not Love The World".
