Although it is not that big, I’ve searched a bit on internet and found out that it was one of the largest earthquakes that has been there if not the largest. Wonder why they do not mentioned it on the news.

How strange. This earthquake doesn't show up on my earthquake app, and it aggregates three or four of the main feeds. Why is this 6.5 not showing up, I wonder? 6.5 is significant, especially in Iceland. I wonder if other quakes aren't being listed.

Which geographic feed is reporting this?

i found it on earthquake.usgs.gov. I could not find it now. It was located near Dalvik in the north, where there has been a big one several years ago. Not a heavy populated area luckily. Maybe it was not correct?
