The Lord sent His Comforter to us at Pentecost for just this reason ...TO KEEP US .
A man is saved , the Holy Spirit resident within the man begins to work , his Walk with Christ on earth begins .
The person is sealed with The Holy Spirit , therefore at the Hour of The Call , it is The Holy Spirit resident within each true Believer that takes them up into the Clouds of Glory to meet Christ .
Jesus speaking : I will KEEP you from "that hour" coming upon the whole world to TRY MEN."
The ministry of the Holy Spirit :
To Glorify Christ
To Teach The Word
To Counsel
To Chastise
To Pray
To Convict
To Comfort in sorrow and loss
To bring Joy
To Keep until that Hour (The Rapture )
To Woo unbelievers to Christ The Lord
To Take Home the Church
