I just got this idea from Steve W. on another thread:
"I long for my LOVE, the one that I will marry. I want that more than life itself. I don't want my emotions to get away with me, but every Tuesday night, when the bride to be and her bridesmaids were spending the night, do you think emotion was running in the room? A big "YES". This could go on for a year. Yet every time they met, it was there."
Why don't we have "Bride Watch" on Tuesday nights through this year like the Israelite brides do?
If nothing else, it will give us something to look forward to each week! He's bound to turn up for us sooner or later. That's me... the blushing bride waiting for my prince to come. LOL!
That's so funny!!! It was a Tuesday night that Jesus would come for His Jewish bride, but for the Christian church that is mainly Gentile, well, I've heard that would be on a Wednesday night.
But Virginia was told the Lord would come for her on a Friday. Being in South Africa, she's on the same time zone as Israel is, I believe. Having said all that, I haven't a clue what day He's going to come. All I know is I want to be counted worthy. L love Him more than life itself. Then again, I've had more years to be in love with Him, if that matters.
