I also agree that there is a lot of weird stuff online and we have to use much discernment.

Glenn Beck is opening a lot of peoples eyes as to what is going on. Stuff most people don't know about and would never know about. We should be praying for his safety as I read that him and his family have to have armed guards and they have to live in a gated community.

We also should be praying that his eyes are opened to the truth of who Jesus Christ is.

Just a quick reply, here, as I have to go

Granted .. Mr. Beck has some validity

You know, my husband and I were JUST watching this same show of Glenn's last night that this man addressed.

I have to admit, what Jan posted is correct! Glenn was not his usual self......he was yelling weird things and trying to appear that he is "in the middle", with all the "extremists" on either side.

Nothing he said made sense, and I told my husband that he was obviously trying to prove something to someone.......saving his own skin. Who knows.

But, yes, it was WEIRD and very OFF and, well, as much as I have appreciated his stands on various things, I think he would sell us "fundamentalist Christians" down the river in a heartbeat after what he said (no, rather, RANTED) last night.

You were right in posting this, Jan. It was scary. But Glenn is a Mormon and not a Christian. He is not going to cover our backs -- God is!

Jan, I was watching when Glen Beck mentioned that he didn't know if Obama was an american citizen or not, but he said he assumed that Hillary Clinton would have exposed him during the primary election process if Obama was not elgible. I guess he didn't understand that Hillary was probably held back by some powerful political group conspiring to make a communist Muslim president of the united states.

Is a Christian website the place to disparage other people regardless of our opinions of them?

I don't anyone is disparaging Glenn Beck. We are trying to figure out why this man, who seems to be a patriot waking people up about the dangers of BHO, is thinking right now by calling "truthers" and "birthers" a bunch of kooks. I happen to think that the "truthers" and "birthers" have plenty of evidence to prove their case. I like what Glenn has to say most of the time, but this doesn't make sense to me why he is taking this stance.

Today I bring you the story of someone we don't know a lot about yet.

He's a guy who was started software company in California and worked hard on it until his business went out of business. He was divorced; had no prospects for a job in California; was in New York but moved to Texas where he was living on his savings and apparently the news of the day drove him to the point of insanity.

Let me be clear: His acts today were the act of a madman.

What we know so far is that he wrote a manifesto, set his house on fire then got into an airplane and flew it into a building in Austin, Texas — a building that housed the IRS.

When I first saw the crash, I wondered if it was a mistake. It reminded me of Sept. 11. I was watching "The Today Show" when they said a plane flew into the World Trade Center. When I saw the gigantic hole, I realized it couldn't have been a mistake. No pilot would fly a plane into a building on a clear day.

The same was true today.

The pilot wrote a manifesto and when the authorities found it on the Web they took it down so they could look at it first.
He was quite appalled that government could bail out two entire industries — spending billions in days — while health care was unresolved.

He wrote that the tax code is so complicated that it holds the people accountable to a tax code that only an industry of lawyers and accountants can understand.
He wrote: "I am finally ready to stop this insanity. Well, Mr. Big Brother IRS man, let's try something different; take my pound of flesh and sleep well."

It was several pages of lunacy. He ended it with this: "The communist creed: From each according to his ability, to each according to his need. The capitalist creed: From each according to his gullibility, to each according to his greed."
When you hear his anti-business and anti-capitalist ravings he sounds like parts of a Van Jones speech. When you listen to his anti-tax ravings he sounds like he is reading bumper stickers off the signs of a Tea Party.

At this hour, I have no idea if this guy is left or right, but here's the point: It doesn't matter. The guy is a killer.
On Sept. 11, we didn't know who orchestrated the attack. By Sept. 20, we knew it was Usama bin Laden. And soon, we started to see people come out and say, "Well, I don't agree with the tactics, but I see his point."

I don't! I don't see Timothy McVeigh's point either.

They're killers. And, as a society, we should condemn all of these guys.
I have told you before: When something bad happens — when someone grabs a gun or like today does something crazy — it does not help the republic, they hurt the republic.

I like Glenn Beck a lot too. I've listened to his radio show for years, and he thinks a lot like I think. However, I don't understand his ridicule of those patriots who are standing up and asking for BHO to show that he is constitutionally eligible to be president. I count myself as one of those "birthers", as I haven't seen any evidence that he is a natural born citizen of the United States. If he is not eligible, he is breaking the law, and is a usurper of the presidency. That is the point I am making!

who wishes to defend Mr. Beck
and silence me. That is the
way it is out there in the world
of fantasy.

Anyone can find the compilation of
evidence about the assault on our
Constitution. Someone who can get
through to Beck via email, should ask
him why over a trillion dollars (that
is the figure I read a few days ago) has
been spent by Obama to conceal his
past.. in all realms of life.

To become a POTUS one must be, according
to the Constitution, a NATURAL BORN
CITIZEN. That does not mean that you are
born in Kenya, and become an American
citizen by some other means.

Obama has not revealed any legal
evidence that he was born on American
soil.

The Hawaiian document is
given out to anyone as proof of
your existence on earth.

It does not prove you were brought into
the world in a Hawaii hospital.

Disparaging Mr. Beck is not the name of
the game. The game is to expose his
reticence to acknowledge that the
people HE disparages (in a very
crude and rude manner) are not from an
insane asylum.

The Patriots, as they are called,(and I
consider myself a patriot: one who
idealizes our American rights, the rights
that millions of soldiers have died to
protect),

are being labeled as 'retards' 'lunatics'
'crazies' 'loonies,' etc.

One person on the Greta Wire Blog, which
I read just a bit ago, Dave is his name,
had the audacity to label Dr. Orly Taitz
a 'retard.' What kind of perceptive
being is this poster? He has a limited
vocabulary, it appears, as each of his
posts states this over and over.

Dr. Taitz is so highly
educated that her IQ must be astronomical,
but this man, (who is typical of the
dissenters), labels her and Americans
as 'retarded.'

Doesn't this bring back memories of the
bullies on the school grounds?

And didn't they eventually get their
come-uppance? I think so, at least
in my experience; what goes around,
comes around.

Tea Partiers are not violent nor
suggesting such actions. If Beck
has seen a 'ranting on a bumper
sticker' then it is because there
are red-necks in all levels of
society. It does not stereotype
the group itself.

However, having said that,
my observation
is that the grassroots movement
will not
go silently into the night.

If it takes a revolution, if legal proceedings
are foiled by corrupt judges, if Americans
are seeing that there is no other way to
bring back the country to what it was,

I would not doubt for a minute that the
people will rise up and take back their
liberty and their democracy.

Glenn Beck is, in many ways, a wee
bit 'on the edge'..
AND
if posters believe that
Dr. Taitz is 'strange' they need to
watch Mr. Beck's antics.

Dr. Taitz is not "strange'; she knows
what it is like to live under anarchy.
She is driven, as Christians are, to
right a wrong; to expose criminality.
Her dialect is hard to understand
sometimes. It takes concentration.

Obama will one day be forced to testify
as to why he has almost 40 social security
numbers, why there is no evidence of
his attending Columbia University,
why no one remembers him from his
alleged class, why he is a man with
no long- form birth certificate,
no revealed educational back ground,
and hires people who
are adulterers, pedophiles, crooks,
and liars, to surround him in office.

You would think that a man like Glenn
Beck, who questions financial records,
voting procedures, and political
anomalies, would wonder about a
man, in the highest office in the world,
not only hiding his certificate of birth,
but actually making it to Presidency
without being 'vetted' (I think that is
the term)
and spending beaucoup of dollars to
keep his supportive documents hidden.

This would all go away if Obama would
go into his vault and bring out those
documents.

Even after that, proceedings to get him out
of office can begin. The man is
destroying this country. His birth
certificate is just the tip of the
iceberg called TREASON.

Very well said Jan! I agree with everything you just said. I wish everyone on this forum would educate themselves about this eligibility question. BHO is a usurper who is hiding the evidence of his foreign birth, or else he wouldn't have sealed all of his records. Glenn needs to look into this more and stand for the truth concerning this issue.

About 3 months ago, I emailed the
Glenn Beck email address, and sent
him some information from Dr. Taitz's
site, about the eligibility issue.

What I received was a reply that
Glenn Beck doesn't read these
articles about that subject.

In other words, either Mr. Beck
replied or whoever opens his
emails, did.

I am wondering if Beck is not
aware of the evidential
research that has been done,
because someone on his staff
is keeping it from him.

That would be so much better
to accept than that Mr. Beck

I respectfully disagree with your characterization of Birthers and Tea Party members as extremists who must be ignored in the political arena.

I have watched your program sporadically and appreciate your attempt to educate our citizens of the dangers we face.

Unfortunately on Thursday February 18, 2010 you allowed your rhetoric to overrun the bounds of decency. I thought for a minute I was listening to Barack Obama doing a voice-over of your show or you were reading from material published by the Department of Homeland Security. When I realized it was you talking and you were serious I turned the channel back to classical music and relaxed while my wife cooked dinner.

For all of my professional life I have carried a copy of the Constitution in my briefcase and kept another copy along with the Federalist Papers on my desk. I have taught American Government at the college level. I have a Masters Degree in History and am a proud graduate of the United States Army War College. My wife started her professional career as an elementary school teacher and retired as a Director of Special Education. Our two sons are Military Officers and our daughter is a Detective for the State of Maine. All have Graduate Degrees. I offer this information only to point out that we are not mind-numbed followers of anybody, but rather successful people who are accustomed to making decisions based on facts not emotions.


First the Birther issue. As a History major I was taught to use original source material for developing any thesis or point to be discussed. After reading most of the legal briefs and researching the law I have come to the conclusion that there is enough evidence to warrant a clarification of Barack Obama’s qualification under the Constitution.

Interestingly nobody raised any major concern when John McCain’s eligibility was questioned. This issue goes to the very heart of the argument that you have been consistently raising – is the original Constitution to be followed or is it a living document to be adjusted according to the needs of the moment? I have undergone numerous background investigations in my professional life and have always had to produce original documents. We live one mile from the Canadian border.

My 10-year old granddaughter plays in a Youth Hockey League and most of her games are in Canada. She, along with everyone else in the family had to produce stamped original copies of our birth certificates, along with other documentation, in order to get passports to go to the games. There is no Constitutional requirement for young hockey players to prove they are actual citizens, yet under the law they must.

On the other hand there is a Constitutional requirement to be met in order to be eligible to be President of the United States. Under the Supremacy Clause (Article VI Clause 2) the Constitution is the supreme law of the land. Will it or will it not be followed? Secondly, where is the equality under the law if a 10-year must produce certified documents while the President can refuse to comply with the very document he took an oath to “preserve, protect and defend” (Article II Section 1 Clause 7)?

As for the Tea Party issue, I find your position to be inconsistent. First you chastised Time Magazine for not including any mention of the movement in their year-end edition. Now the Tea Party members are characterized as fringe extremists who, according to your statements, the political leaders should not “surround” themselves with. Either the movement is important or it isn’t.

You can’t logically argue that the Tea Party movement should be included in Time Magazine and then counter that by arguing that the major political leaders should ignore the Tea Party members. From my perspective the Tea Party movement provides a perfectly legitimate opportunity for concerned citizens to vent their frustrations within the realm of politics. The polls continually show that voters are dissatisfied with the current politicians. Given the current political volatility it is better to allow public dissent than to marginalize it. If you don’t allow the steam to escape from a boiling pot it may eventually explode – that is the last thing I want to see happen to this country.

Belittling and excluding those who may express contrary views does nothing to increase the level of cooperation or understanding of all involved, it only leads to more frustration and ultimately increases the polarization of the country. For the record I am not a Tea Party member and I have never attended any of their functions.

I simply argue the point because I believe all voices, excluding those who expressly incite violence, racism or treason, should be heard and then the voters can make an informed decision.

For the record I do not agree with Glenn on this.
But I also thank God for him and think he is doing this country a wonderful service even if he is wrong once in awhile.

I am not sure what trashing Glenn Beck has to do with a rapture forum. There are lots of other places where that stuff is welcome.

Good job Jan i really ppreciate your posting..

Everyone here, why are you concerned about these goings on in the world? Of course the world system is corrupt! We are in the very last days! We don't need to dig for tidbits about it just so we feel like we know something and are on top of things. Take it to the Lord and leave it with Him.

I don't know anything about Glenn Beck because I don't listen to talking heads, but I can't imagine the pressure he is under. And we are not to rely on people. If he has succumbed to the pressure then PRAY FOR HIM!

Is Jesus going to give you an amen for your words on this post, that is the important question. I don't know if I will get an amen either, but I just want Jesus to be glorified and this type of conversation doesn't seem to be doing that.

Jan, I just reread what you originally posted and you copied some very hateful words from Tom Arnold. This is not edifying for anyone, including you. Please take this to the Lord and see what He thinks...I am truly saying this with love in my heart, not condemnation. , Carlee

First of all, we should be concerned for
what is going on in these Last Days.
WE don't know how LAST they are, do we?
This madness could go on for another
3 years.. or less. No one knows.

Secondly, when I post someone's
letter from Dr. Taitz's site, it is
because it is:

a. well-written
b. enlightening
c. on the mark as far as the ominous
situation we ALL are facing,
namely corruption in higher places
and I DON'T mean in HEAVEN..

d. there are some people who are interested
in following this case, and who cannot
or will not go on Dr. Taitz's site because
of occasional viruses. So far, in the last
two weeks, no virus has attacked me.
( only the human variety, )

e. it is prudent for all of us to follow this
case and to give applause to a Russian woman
who has experienced what is coming down on
America, (unless the blinders are removed from
eyes that are not willing to be opened).

f. Tom Arnold did not write a hateful letter;
* unless you think putting light on TRUTH is
hateful. Me, I like TRUTH and prefer it to
being ignorant and with my head in the sand.
Although, yes,it seems alluring to
be 'out of it' and unaware of the world around us.

g. This board is, as someone said, a RAPTURE board.
Does that mean that news articles are to be
obliterated, censored, and omitted from here?
If so, then half the board should be erased.

h. You can dwell on the Rapture from now until the
day/night that it occurs. Meanwhile, it would
behoove those who are still amongst the living,
to be aware of the danger that is hovering over
our nation. And that there are men and women
in the news, a place of responsibility, who
are not giving us the whole picture. And if they
even KNOW the whole story, are rejecting it for
reasons that only they know. Cowardice, comes to
mind.


It is really like to
continue to interact when minds are blocked to
what is evident and crucial to all of us.

An Open Letter to Dr. Orly Taitz, Esq.



The people of the USA and of the world are presently faced with a crisis, perhaps the greatest crisis ever. We are at a fork in the road and must choose our path. There will be no going back.



One choice is fascist oligarchy. Fascist dictator Benito Mussolini once said, “Fascism should rightly be called Corporatism, as it is the merger of corporate and government power.” It is obvious to the informed observer that the international moneylenders are far along in their agenda for global fascism, a plunge into the abyss of a modern dark age of ignorance, terror, war, murder, serfdom, and slavery of the masses, which will end in the demise of the perpetrators. We see the unparalleled growth and merger of state and corporate power, the expansion of the military-industrial complex and the stripping of inalienable individual liberties justified by the amorphous and never-ending “war on terror.” The coup d’etat of 2008, the fraudulent “election” of ineligible criminal usurper Barack Soetoro/Obama, was orchestrated by the global financiers as they groomed and selected this strange, secretive enemy of the Constitution to oversee the final coup de grace, the destruction of the Constitution.



The other choice is the rule of law, a republic under the U.S. Constitution, the greatest charter for government ever devised. Orly Taitz has, at immense personal sacrifice, defended the Constitution.



There are various categories of people who support the fascist oligarchy. There are those who truly believe it will be best for humanity. Mussolini, Hitler, Lenin, Stalin, Mao and other 20th-Century tyrants came into power with support from such “useful idiots.” Once their power was solidified they, of course, turned on the useful idiots and murdered them by the tens of millions. Other supporters include self-serving traitors, congressmen and women, judges, civil “servants”, those who swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution for personal gain, for the fat paycheck, job security, benefits, retirement, and for an illusion of power. Whatever the reason for treason, the traitors to the Constitution will one day lament their actions, as did victims of previous despotic regimes.



The agents of deceit have assaulted Orly Taitz with an ever-escalating barrage of vicious lies and character assassination. Perpetrators include useful idiots and traitors, paid hackers and disinformation agents. Those of us who understand what she has done, what she has sacrificed, the courage she has demonstrated in the cause of liberty and justice, we must let her know and shout to the rooftops our appreciation. If she wins in her efforts to expose the usurper, we all win, even the useful idiots and traitors, and I might add, in my opinion even the financiers who are presently destroying their own power base. If she loses, we all lose.

Miss Jan, I hear what you are saying , but I have to disagree with you. I still feel the words are hateful (and I LOVE the truth to be constantly affirmed. Trust me, I offend people with this desire) and that God is in control in these end times and we are to pray as He leads us.

Jan...What you're saying is correct, but I have to throw my hat into the circle with 2HH and Carlee. This really isn't the venue for speaking against someone that has nothing to do with the soon return of our King. It may have something to do with the persecution that is coming, but I dare say not on RITA.

2HH...Sorry you got bulldozed over. The western world is so preoccupied with what's going on instead of praying, completing the Great commision and seeing the Lord glorified. I believe we are changing with the shaking that is happening from a world system understanding of provision to the Kingdom understanding that He is our all in all. That includes all provisions. Keep our eyes and hearts on Jesus and look only to HIM!!!

RITA...we need to seek the Lord for protection, understanding and direction for ourselves and for our brothers and sisters. If ones calling is to sound the alarm on other people, to the body of Christ, then do it, but just not here.

One would be surprised to find that the enemy can put so many distractions in front of us that we become of no value to the Lord. Keep focused on what matters, and that includes picking the right sites to air on. Most people really don't care. They have their own opinions already and you can blast till you're blue in the face and it won't change one mind. My point here is follow the calling of the Lord in Your life and keep focused on that and that alone. Time is too precious and He deserves our best. In the days ahead, keep your eyes on Christ and in His Word. Put hedges of protection around your family and the RITA family as well. Time is very very short.

Whoa now! Nobody is saying to support any of these TV networks! Have you read this entire thread? Fox news is more conservative than any of the other networks, but Fox isn't "The Christian Network" either. Glenn Beck has been a good conservative broadcaster for a long time now, but for some reason he will not address the "eligibility issue" concerning Obama as to whether he is a natural born citizen or not. I don't know why so many people are uninformed about this subject, and why they don't care about what the Constitution has to say. The Constitution is the highest law of the land under God, and yet the president and congress act as though it's just some outdated document.
