Hello dear brothers and sisters here at RITA:
I have an early appointment tomorrow morning with the cancer specialist to see the pathology report that was taken during my cancer operation last month.
As you recall, I had a hysterectomy for endometrial cancer. I asked the doctor not to remove my lymph glands due to the risk of getting lymphodema. (A disease where the legs swell up like tree trunks and you're unable to walk very well.)
I took a big risk doing that, because if there IS cancer found in the lymph glands, then the cancer can spread quickly throughtout my body. I would assume if that's the case, I will have to take an extended leave of absense to start extensive chemotherapy. I DON'T WANT TO DO THAT!!! So you can imagine, I've been on pins and needles for the past month, not knowing the results of the pathology report they took on my lymph glands....BUT I'M GOING TO FIND OUT TOMORROW MORNING!
Please keep me in prayer, everyone, that the Lord will keep me calm, and He will give the doctor wisdom as to what treatment to give me (if cancer is found), and whether I should accept the treatment or not....or just depend on natural remedies or look for healing from the Lord.
Better yet, please pray that the results are good, and that he gives me a clean bill of health!

Yes, the first chance I get, I will let everyone know what the doctor said. Since I have to get up at the crack of dawn to go to the doctor's office, I'd better hit the sack!

Oh Leenie,
Praying for you; you have been on my heart and I am anxious to hear your report. Just remember that the Lord will be with you always, even to the ends of the earth. I know from personal experience that if the road leads you down the path of chemotherapy after all, you will still be safe in His hands and he will get you through it.

Oh Eileen, I just wish I could drive you to the doctor and hold your hand. I really do.
I will be praying for your peace which we know He paid for on Calvary. The chastisement of your peace was upon him.
