I am home now. I came home late yesterday afternoon. I am very tired, but I can breathe again. I didn't know how bad this all was until I got this stent and I feel better. The cardio artery that got the stent was on the back of my heart and it was 80% blocked. Dr. put the lead into artery in my right leg. I am walking a little funny but that will go away soon. Right now I am just resting. Thanks to all for praying for me and Jer. It is nice to know that I am loved.
Thanks guys for your prayers and the sweet welcome back encouragement. I am still tired, but a few nights in my own bed should cure that. I am here if you need me, just email.
I'm so glad that you're feeling better! Isn't it great to be home after being in the hospital? The way they woke you up every two hours to take your vital signs or poke you with a needle made it really hard to sleep. I think now that you're home, you'll get your strength back because you'll be able to sleep and rest better.
Just wanted to reassure you that you will get better... a little each day.
I had the identical thing done on Jan 6th this year. Only I had 100 % blockage, and was having a heart attack. They put two stents in me and the artery was in the back of my heart.
I am much improved. Try walking a little each day. Have someone go with you. Stop when you need to, but try. You'll get better.
So glad to know you're back home safe and sound. Just get some rest and eat as well as you can (the Jewish mother's answer to everything!). I was reading today about new research linking the benefits of low-dosage aspirin for people with heart conditions. Might be worth checking out when you're up and about.

Dr. Casino, my heart doc, put my on low dose 81mg aspirin. I have to take this every day along with
plavix and zocor. Great minds run in the same channels.
.My doctor has me on low dose aspirin and I have no heart problems. He said it also helps a female to block strokes..and now they are finding it helps for breast cancer.
Praise the Lord
Lynn, we're so glad to hear you are back home with your family. Will continue to lift you and Jerry up to the Lord. We're praying for a speedy recovery for you Sis.
So glad you are better Lynn. I am just so amazed that the Lord set it up so that we can pray for each other. I know that many are still praying for you. I have certainly added you to my prayers. Jesus is our answer and He is our Way. God bless you. I pray for healing and restoration to flow through all your arteries and veins and through your heart and your whole body in the Name of Jesus.
Thank you all for your encouragement and prayers. I did go out an walk a little today and for once I didn't get winded, I had some angina pain, I took a nitro tablet for it and the pain subsided. This all comes with the territory I've been told. We have a wonderful place to walk that is around the lake, it is so peaceful.
I will work out at the fitness center here at the apartment complex, and I will go back to swimming also, we have a indoor pool.
Dear Lynn - so glad to hear you are back safe and sound! (Sorry for late reply to this thread, but we were celebrating a family birthday yesterday, and I've been away from home all day today).
You and your family have been through so much this past year or so,, but your faith in the Lord shines through it all.
Sending up another prayer for your health, Jerry's and all else the Lord will delight in providing for you as His beloved daughter. Thank you for your mother's heart - you obviously hurt when RITA is threatened; but of course you can trust that the Lord will never cease to watch over us here - especially when it is your time to be on the mend!
