WOOWW!!!!! That IS a standout, wouldn't you say? This morning when I heard about the earthquake in Turkey, I was thinking of Jesus' words "earthquakes in diverse places" a sign of His coming and I thought "what perfect words He spoke" --- it HAS to be close you guys.

Shirley, I couldn't find January because the earthquake site only posts 7 days at a time. Counting Turkey, which is only a degree short of a 6 pointer, there have been 24 major earthquakes in 22 days since February 12th. March 6th is the only day of this month so far that has NOT had a 6 point or above earthquake. Notable increase in size and number - just as Jesus said it would happen.

Yes TS, it is defenitely a sign of the endtimes we are living in. Almost every day, since february the 12th we have an earthquake of a 6 above the Richter scale. The Turkey earthquake of today is now listed also 6.0 according to the Turkish earthquake-center. It was followed by 40 aftershocks and two of them where above 5.

I would say that the creation is trembling in anticipation of receiving its Creator. I can't wait. Please come quickly Lord Jesus!

These are just the big ones. I was watching Jack Van Impe yesterday and he said (and this was recorded right after Chile's 8.8) that there had been 500 earthquakes in the past thirty days. So I wonder what the total is now AFTER the big quake in Chile to today? Total of all earthquakes from January 1, 2010 must be staggering.

I know that JVI often talks about how the amount of earthquakes is escalating as time has went on also. It definitely seems that the earth is experiencing so many large scale disasters in shorter and shorter spans of time.

I often wonder when an earthquake is going to hit us. If you live on the planet...you can be one of those in an area that is hit at any time it seems. No more 'earthquake' zones. It seems as if they are everywhere!

I think some mom in here could tell how much more pain did she experience compare to the birth pangs when the time came for delivering the baby, then it would also be the analogy of size of destruction that will happen on earth when the time for delivering comes compare to the birth pangs right now ... Just my thought.

T/Sue, what fault line does Oklahoma (that state has had 17+ [plus a tornado to boot], I think) lie under? I'm asking b/c I notice it isn't included on your list(s).

Oklahoma was not included because it was a 4.4 sized quake. The list I have kept updating is for 6.0 and ABOVE in magnitude. I heard Irvin Baxter on the radio a couple of days ago saying that there have been 250 quakes in the last 30 days that were between a 4.0 and 5.9 magnitude. Combine that with the 31 BIG ones on this list and that is a hefty number of earthquakes worldwide.

2nd note: This doesn't even include those that are below a 4.0 and there are many. The earth, like the prophet Isaiah said, is reeling to and fro like a drunkard. Jesus is coming soon.

Of the 33 earthquakes over the last 33 days, 20 were in Chile. The number 33 seems to be significant here.

Sometimes the practice of watching the signs is a practice of collecting little puzzle pieces called "Hmmm. That Could Be Something." Like the first contractions of labor, you think: "ouch. well, that might have been significant."

Increasingly things seem more certain and more frequent like the contractions that come right before 'transition' when the birthing really gets started.

And I have to say that 33 significant earthquakes in 33 days surely seems significant. (And don't forget about earthquakes in unusual places. We've had something like 14 earthquakes in 14 days in Oklahoma. Not kidding! 9 in one day alone!) So many things coming together to make this look like Time for Transitions!

Does anyone still remember the pattern of earthquakes we were tracking last fall? They made a pattern for quite a while, and it looked like it was heading somewhere. Then my short attention span led me to watch something else. I'd be interested to go back and look at that pattern now, and see if it tells us anything about what's happening now.

MARCH 18 , I just awoke from Sarah waking me up just now to tell me--she heard in her dream...SOMETHING BIG AND SOMETHING BAD IS COMING.....
she heard ....65 earthquakes coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Either at 6 or 7 PM in evening when this happens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She saw fighter jets shooting people!
Also we were following a star---and heading EAST!!!!!!!!!!!

As of March 16th there had been 33 (thirty-three) 6.0 magnitude and above earthquakes in 33 days from the Haiti quake on Feb 12th.

There was a skip from March 16th to the 20th. On the 20th there was a 6.2 in Papua, New Guinea. So the new total of upper magnitude quakes worldwide from Feb 12th is 34 in 36 days.

As of Saturday, 3/20, there are two volcanos erupting.
Geneustace reports one erupting in Iceland.
Rhonda reports one in New Guinea concurrent with the 6.2 quake.
