Re: The REAL Passover may be a month later than we thought...
I don't fully understand this article, but I have bookmarked it for a future time when I can analyze it, but, if Passover, and therefore, Pentecost should be about one month later, as in Abib starts on April 15th or 16th, Passover starts on April 29th or 30th, then Firstfruits would be on May 2nd and Pentecost would be on June 20th, which is Father's Day in America! Wouldn't it be great to meet our heavenly Father on Father's Day!!
Re: The REAL Passover may be a month later than we thought...
I just looked at the calendar. The possible June date for Pentecost based on the article is also the day before the summer solstice. I wonder if that is when Obama is planning to reschedule his trip to Indonesia?
seems like the corruption is 180 degrees out! unbelievable
So Scruggers, what are those two videos saying? Please do tell us, whom can't view them, in words, so that we no longer will feel completely clueless. PLEASE!!!
This is not to say that God may not honor the present Jewish calendar but He may honor His real biblical one!
Besides, having an accurate modern day equivalent is extremely important since God uses key dates in past Jewish history!

scuggers
Joseph,
But can you explain the figures that you posted?
I get the 4005 but the rest I'm unclear?
Thanks,
Tom
I took your numbers and applied in reverse to come up with the present time.
This is the year..
Here's another little reverse job that I posted earlier, that points to this year as well..
4005 again the Hebrew Calendar at BC/AD..
Eze. 4:5 = 390 years judgment by God against the house of Israel (10 tribes)
Lev. 26:21 God will multiply times 7 whatever he puts on his people. Also another example in Dan. 9:24. (70X7=490)
Then we need the 721BC for when the Israelites (10 tribes) were taken captive by the Assyrians..
Our calendar year is 2010 but we need to add a zero for accuracy which brings our year to 2009
The following study on the biblical calendar provides well documented information regarding how the calendar originally functioned.

Re: The REAL Passover may be a month later than we thought...
I think He does this on purpose...the whole making the calenders almost impossible to pinpoint exactly. It keeps us on our toes and I suspect allows Him to keep the date all to Himself. I do honestly think we are in the right ballpark, though!
Re: The REAL Passover may be a month later than we thought...
Yes, I think He knew looking into the future how we would all be trying to figure it out... and he knew we couldn't know for sure - hence he was letting us know ahead of time "no man knows the day nor hour". Every word out of his mouth is truth, isn't he amazing?
Re: The REAL Passover may be a month later than we thought...
Don't forget — there's also 2nd Passover, which is exactly a month later every year. It wouldn't surprise me if He waited ‘til the last possible second to get everyone possible in the door. Since we are grafted in as the 2nd option, it could be the plan.
"Moses consulted God who responded by announcing that anyone who was unable to sacrifice the paschal lamb on the 14th of Nisan, either due to defilement or inability to journey to the place of sacrifice in time, was under the duty to perform the sacrifice on the 14th of Iyar, a full month later, and only then eat the paschal lamb along with matzah and maror."
