Plain Talk -- A Clear Word
A New 'Gathering'
"A certain man was preparing a great banquet
and invited many guests. At the time of the banquet he sent his
servant to tell those who had been invited, 'Come, for everything is
now ready.' But they all alike began to make excuses. The first said, 'I
have just bought a field, and I must go and see it. Please excuse me.'
Another said, 'I have just bought five yoke of oxen, and I'm on my way
to try them out. Please excuse me.' Still another said, 'I just got
married, so I can't come.' The servant came back and reported this to
his master.
Then the owner of the house became angry
and ordered his servant, 'Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of
the town and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame.'
‘Sir, the servant said, what you ordered has been done, but there is still
room.’ Then the master told his servant, 'Go out to the roads and
country lanes and make them come in, so that my house will be full. I
tell you, not one of those men who were invited will get a taste of my
banquet’.â€

Everything Jesus said and did
while He was on earth had great significance and purpose. This parable certainly did. It speaks of the very days in which we are living. It not only described the 'religious' people of the day, but also the determined heart of God to have a people!
It’s the same today.
Jesus is going to have a people!
There are multitudes of people all aver the world who testify that they know
Jesus and serve or live for God. This is coming into question in our
generation more than ever and is being tried and proven first of all by Jesus
himself! Scripture plainly speaks that all will ‘pass under the rod’ and that
all will ‘stand before the judgment seat of Christ’. Jesus is the one who
determines who is His and who is not. No one else!
There are many who are walking in the 'uprightness of their own heart'. They see themselves as 'righteous'. They know God, they hear God, they see God, but they are going about to 'do it' themselves! Some get a 'word' and they 'run with it'. Others get 'understanding' as well as a 'word' and they run with that. Jesus is the 'way, the truth and the life'! A small number get a 'word'(hear), seek for 'understanding'(see/know), and also 'wait' for the 'wisdom of the Lord' to perform all of it or to bring it to pass. They will never attempt to do anything in themselves except to testify of the wonderful works of God both in their own lives and in the earth. They only do what He puts in their hands to do.
What are we doing today?
A 'bride' is prepared and that's all! Everything pertaining to her 'marriage' is in 'another place' that has been prepared by the 'bridegroom' and chosen by His Father. Many, many today have 'married' their own works! And they are completely caught up in all that 'they' are doing there in Jesus' Name. Many will turn down the 'invitation', the 'call' to the wedding feast just as those in the parable thinking that they are already there! Others will not be willing to make the sacrifice that it requires.
Paul had a heavy heart in his day also
for his people the Jews: 1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. 2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
Dear ones in the Lord
I would submit to you that what happened in Jesus' day
is also happening today. Jesus wept over Jerusalem and cried out that they could have been 'gathered under His wings' just as a hen gathers her chicks, but they wouldn't! To follow Jesus requires the complete surrender of our own will. It also requires that we let go of the 'steering wheel' of our own life, or let go of the last knot in the 'rope' of trying to keep our own lives going. It means living by 'faith' in Him and Him alone. It means Him living through us. Everything else, Everything! Will lead us astray and cause us to miss the 'call', the 'trumpet' of the coming of the bridegroom for His bride.
Jesus loves everyone!
He died for the whole world. Sadly, the whole world will not receive His
sacrifice of love. There are also ‘tares’ among the ‘wheat’ in His house. For
many years Jesus has been ‘visiting’ His house and calling to everyone
there. He has been calling for them to return to Him. It’s time for a great
‘feast’, a ‘marriage supper’. He personally invited many and they have made
excuse and turned away. He has gone from church to church and ministry
to ministry, but many didn’t even know that He was there. Others didn’t
recognize His voice. Still others, just pushed Him away. All of this has
broken His heart. Just as it did two thousand years ago.
Yet, with great determination and purpose
He has gone to the outcasts, the unlovely, the down-trodden, the lame and
the sick. He has chosen and called out a new generation of disciples or
‘sons’ from those who have been declared ‘unacceptable’ by those of His
house. These have been ‘hidden’ as ‘outside the gate’ while Jesus has
perfected them in Himself over the years in the ‘wilderness’. They include
both men and women. All of this has taken place openly, but has remained
‘unknown’ and ‘unseen’ both by the church and by the world. Now, Jesus is
about to reveal and to exalt this ‘new leadership’! As He does many are not
going to understand what has happened and what it means even though
they witness it firsthand.
The ‘feast’, a new gathering, a new people, is about to begin!
Everything has been prepared and it is absolutely magnificent! The original
well-known names of those who were invited have been replaced with ‘new’
names. These are ‘unknowns’ who are about to be revealed to the whole
world. They are about to ‘take their seats’ and to begin to ‘dine’ upon all
that the Lord has prepared and it will prosper greatly in their hand.
Many whom were invited, but who refused and turned away,
will come and desire to be a part of this great feast. But it will be too late for
their ‘names’ have been taken away. They have no place nor part in this that
the Lord has prepared. So, sadly, as the sound of great rejoicing and
gladness begins to fill the earth anew there will also be wailing and great
sorrow by those who have now found themselves ‘shut out’ and unable to
partake. Their ‘day’ of glory is over. A ‘new day’ and a ‘new glory’ is just
beginning.
Jesus will be seen and known to be with the new leadership.
Tremendous ‘works’ will take place. In all of this ‘new places’ will be
established and a ‘new gathering’ will come together. One that will be
different from any other before it. People, all kinds of people from all over,
are going to come and are going to see Jesus. They are going to experience
Jesus one- on- one in a way they never thought possible.
"All Things Are Ready!"
Don't mistake the 'preparation' thinking that it's the 'feast'! All of these things are yet to take place! It has not 'begun' yet though we are at the very 'doors'! Don't worry, Jesus Himself will announce its start in a very big way!
As all of this takes place
there will be mixed reactions or responses, some favorable, some opposed.
Some are just going to ‘wonder’? But the result will be the coming together
of a totally new people for God. One that did not exist before this time:
“The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls:
because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give
drink to my people, my chosen. This people have I formed for myself; they
shall shew forth my praise.†Isa 43:20-21(KJV)
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood,
an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of
him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in
time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not
obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.â€
1 Pet 2:9-10 (KJV)
Things are going to be very different
even much more different than they are already. Jesus is preparing our
hearts and minds for all that is taking place in our lives right now and all
that will yet take place. We are so ‘set’ in our ways that it’s really difficult
for us to know or to accept new things. With good reason, also! There’s so
much in the world today that is false or fake! That’s why Jesus is going to
show in every way what He is doing and also prove beyond doubt that it is
Him that is the one doing it! Still, the majority of people are not going to
come into what He will raise up nor regard it as a ‘place apart’ from all that
will yet come upon the world.
The Lord has caused Isaiah’s words in chapter twenty five
to be declared everywhere to our generation. They are very special to me.
“On this mountain the LORD Almighty will prepare
a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine-- the best of
meats and the finest of wines.â€
“On this mountain he will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the
sheet that covers all nations; he will swallow up death forever.â€
“The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove
the disgrace of his people from all the earth. The LORD has spoken. In that
day they will say, "Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved
us. This is the LORD, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his
salvation.†Isa 25:6-9 (NIV)

Father, I pray for ministry leaders today. Bless them and help them to follow You in purity and in the anointing . Grant them boldness in their preaching and help them in their walk of righteousness. Lord, I release any resistance I have toward godly leadership and I open my heart to receive from those who You have ordained to minister in my life. Thank You Lord for Your leaders who carry Your heart for me! In Jesus’ Name, AMEN

I believe this is a true word from the Lord God. Who will listen & heed its message? Who will submit themselves to the Potter's hand, humbly asking Him to do whatever is necessary to mold them into the image of His beautiful Son? Who is willing to seek Him & no one else, that they may discover the riches of His Truth, raw and untainted?
I believe He is about to come and do something spectacular in & through His true bride, FOR HIS GLORY! According to His great mercies!
Lord, I have nothing to offer You, save my pathetic naked self. But please, oh please sweet Jesus, use me however You see fit. I am Yours. Have Your way in me. I have no agenda of my own, save to please and honor You...to know You & be close to You. I love You.
