PASSOVER SACRIFICE DID HAPPEN IN JERUSALEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lamb Sacrifice 5770

By Pastor F. M. Riley

IT DID HAPPEN! IT DID HAPPEN! IN SPITE OF ALL THE EFFORTS OF THE JEWISH COURTS, POLICE, AND OTHER AUTHORITIES, TO STOP IT FROM HAPPENING, THOSE JEWISH PRIESTS WHO CLAIM TO BE LEVITES REINSTITUTED THE PASSOVER SACRIFICE ON PASSOVER THIS YEAR! PROPHECY IS BEING FULFILLED WHETHER SOME WANT TO BELIEVE IT OR NOT. THE RAPTURE OF GOD'S PEOPLE AND THE BEGINNING OF THE TRIBULATION IS SO CLOSE SOME OF THE UNBELIEVERS OUGHT TO ALREADY BE FEELING THE HEAT FROM THE FIRES OF THE TRIBULATION.

I watched this video and watched that poor lamb struggle in the hands of the priests, for he didn't know what was going to happen. It vididly struck home to me that even though our Lord KNEW what was going to happen He DID NOT STRUGGLE, but willingly went to the cross as the Lamb of God making the supreme sacrifice because of His LOVE for all of us. Read Isaiah 53:7 again; in fact, read the whole chapter, then weep, repent, and ask the Lord for forgiveness for not realizing and truly appreciating what it really cost the Lord to save your sorry soul and mine.

I couldn't help but grasp the parellel between the PRIESTS sacrificing this poor unknowing lamb on Passover this year, and the PRIESTS instigating and bringing about the sacrifice of the Lord Himself some 2,000 years ago. The priests today are still just as SPIRITUALLY BLIND today as they were 2,000 years ago, but they are fulfilling the prophetic Word.

I couldn't help but grasp the significance of this poor struggling lamb being sacrificed on Passover in spite of the intention of the Jewish authorities to prevent it from happening on that day, just as the Lord was sacrificed on Passover in spite of the intentions back then of the PRIESTS for it not to happen on that day. Is God's Word relevent or not? Glory to God!

As I watched this sacrifice take place, I couldn't help but realize the IGNORANCE of many of God's own people today regarding the sacrifices, even of those who made this video. Over and over again in the Jewish Law, in the Psalms, in Isaiah, in Jeremiah, in Ezekiel, and in some of the so-called "minor prophets" the Lord Himself explicitly told the Jewish people that they were to continue the sacrifices "PERPETUALLY throughout their generations," and the inspired writings of the prophets make it very clear that they will do just that. Oh, but some of God's people today object, "Christ was the Supreme Sacrifice to end all sacrifices, so to sacrifice animals again is a blasphemy against the sacrifice of Christ." Just where do you find that in the Bible? BOOK, CHAPTER, AND VERSE, PLEASE...?? Have even many saved people today studied the Scriptures carefully enough to know the difference between A SACRIFICE and A MEMORIAL...

The sacrifice of Christ was accomplished ONCE AND FOR ALL on Calvary's old rugged cross. But His sacrifice is remembered as A MEMORIAL every single time that a "professing believer" anywhere in the world observes THE LORD'S SUPPER. Are you committing blasphemy against the Lord when you observe the Lord's Supper? Don't hemhaw around! Yes or no..?? or are you remembering again His precious sacrifice on the cross for your sorry soul and mine?

It is a simple truth that the Lord Himself gave the Law to the Jews to observe PERPETUALLY, and the same Lord gave the Lord's Supper to His church to observe PERPETUALLY. Quit READING the Bible and get serious about STUDYING the Bible. Throw out that denominational garbage called "Quarterlies" prepared for simpletons to read, and get into the SERIOUS STUDY OF THE WORD. AT CHURCH! AT HOME! EVERYWHERE! Time is running out. The Lord didn't just die for your preacher, so he could give you tidbits from the Word. HE DIED FOR YOU! Don't you care anything about learning His Word? Well...?? Or do you want to appear before Him in a short time now having to hang your head in shame? Read 1 John 2:28 and take it to heart.

The Lord Himself, whom some of you think you are honoring by your "indignation" against the very thought of the Jews offering animal sacrifices again, is the ONE who commanded the Jews to offer these animal sacrifices "PERPETUALLY THROUGHOUT THEIR GENERATIONS." Take your concordance and look these truths up in your own Bible. Why would He do that? As AN EVERLASTING MEMORIAL to the sacrifice that the Lord Himself would make at Calvary and did make for all of us, ONCE FOR ALL. Remember! A million generations from today the Lord Jesus Christ will still be worshiped and honored through those MEMORIALS proclaiming "THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL," Revelation 14:6.

Yes! I am wound up and filled with the Spirit of the Lord as I am writing. If some reader doesn't believe this, I couldn't care less! For I am also without apology for making and sending out this statement. The Lord knows that I have a burning love for His people and that they should know THE TRUTH of His Word. If I have stepped over the line anywhere in what I have written in this email and need to make an apology to anyone, I will make it personally to my Lord in a few more days or weeks. He has more love and compassion and mercy and forgiveness in the touch of His finger, than some "professing Christians" have in their whole body. God have mercy on us all!

The sacrifices have been reinstituted. The Lord is coming soon! You have my message!

Pastor F. M. Riley

Re: PASSOVER SACRIFICE DID HAPPEN IN JERUSALEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

T/Sue, the link says the sacrifice happened in 2008. Was there one this year??

Re: PASSOVER SACRIFICE DID HAPPEN IN JERUSALEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Diane C., I didn't see the date and thought that was for this year. Wow, thanks for asking. I don't know and have to leave to go back to work. When I get home I will research the news and try to find out. I know that the last thing I saw was a ruling from the Israeli Supreme Court saying they couldn't have a sacrifice. That is why, when I saw this article by F.M. Riley I got so excited. Thought the ruling may have been overturned. Maybe not.

I just looked again at this article. The title at the top says 5770 which is THIS year - from Rosh Hoshannah 2009 to 2010. But the link he provided says May 1, 2008. ?????

Israeli Supreme Court stops Passover sacrifice, but...

http://www.examiner.com/x-22366-LA-Church-History--End-Prophecy-Examiner~y2010m3d28-Israeli-Supreme-Court-stops-Passover-sacrifice-but

Watch the Middle East! This is an admonition God’s Church has made for decades, and now we are starting to see why. “The Temple Mount Institute has filed suit in its fight for the right to sacrifice a sheep on the Temple Mount prior to Passover, as commanded in the Torah.” Citing equal access rights to the Temple Mount, the Institute notes discriminatory actions by the Israeli police. Muslims retain the right to worship according to their customs, while Jews, who also view the Temple Mount as holy, are forced to limit their religious activities (IsraelNationalNews.com, March 18, 2010). Although the Temple Mount Institute will likely not be granted the opportunity to offer sacrifices on the Temple Mount prior to the Passover, there is increasing pressure to allow equal access to worship on the Temple Mount. As America appears to be curtailing its relationship with Israel, the EU and the Catholic Church are “building” their relationships with Israel. One of the clear signs of the end of the age, indicating Christ’s imminent return, is the cessation of Temple sacrifices. The sacrifices will apparently cease half-way through a seven-year treaty between many nations, and will be involved in triggering the beginning of the Great Tribulation (Daniel 9:27; 12:11). In order for sacrifices to cease, they must first begin—and events appear to be moving in this direction!

And like in past years, as LCG indicated, the Supreme Court in Israel again ruled against the sacrifices:

Supreme Court: No Passover Sacrifice Again This Year
by Hillel Fendel
(IsraelNN.com) The Supreme Court has rejected a petition requesting that Jews be enabled to offer the Passover Sacrifice...the eve of the holiday.

Similar petitions have been submitted and rejected in recent years...

The organizers also demanded to be allowed to celebrate this coming Passover holiday on the site of the Holy Temple by offering the Paschal sacrifice. They noted that according to Jewish Law, the Holy Temple does not need to be built in order to resume the sacrificial offerings. They emphasized accordingly that the Temple Mount organizations are not trying to change or make modifications to any existing structures on the Mount, but rather aim to receive permission to build a temporary altar, which would be dismantled immediately following the Passover Offering.

The Court ruled, however, that because of feared Arab violence, such an act could not be permitted. “It's true,” the ruling states, “that the basic point of departure is that every Jew has the right to the Temple Mount and pray there… However, these rights are not absolute and their implementation can be limited in view of the public interest… In light of the centrality and importance of the Temple Mount for many other religions, too, the danger arising from a flare of violence is not only a local threat… What happens on the Temple Mount affects political considerations and foreign relations of the state.”

Responses
Rabbi Yehuda Glick, head of the Organization for Human Rights on the Temple Mount, responded with sorrow: “The Land of Israel is acquired through pain – sadly, much pain.”

Yosef Rabin, Liaison to North American Communities on behalf of the Organization for Renewal of the Temple, took a harsher tone: “The heart of every Jew should shudder at this ruling, which is reminiscent of the decree of the evil king of Israel, Yeravam ben Nevat, who also did not allow the Jewish People to ascend and worship on the Mount.” http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/136699

But as LCG correctly stated, sacrifices must at some point in time begin. They will likely be sometime after the deal in Daniel 9:27 (and may take years to start from then)--but they will begin. And, as the shown above, the Jews do not believe that a rebuilt temple must exist for those sacrifices to begin (this is also consistent with what the Bible shows in Ezra 3:6).

Furthermore, some Jews might try to sacrifice this year anyway. Today the following statements were at the website of the reconstituted "Sanhedrin":

WHAT HAS CHANGED
THAT ENABLES US
TO OFFER THE
KORBAN PESACH NOW?...

This year in Jerusalem, the Sanhedrin Initiative is calling upon the Jewish people in Israel and throughout the world to participate in the Korban Pesach. The Sanhedrin Initiative will choose sheep to be offered in the Korban Pesach, and all preparations will be made in the expectation that we can renew this ancient, traditional offering. In the event that political or other obstacles intervene, the Sanhedrin Initiative has taken halakhic precautions to ensure that the monies for purchasing the sheep can still be used for charitable donations.

Any person wishing to participate in the Korban Pesach can enroll himself and members of his family for the price of seven shekels per person --the estimated cost of a Kezayit of meat, the minimum portion necessary for fulfilling the commandment. The process will be supervised by licensed accountants, whether the monies will be used for the original purpose or will be donated to charity.

We realize that this approach is as controversial as it is courageous; passivity always appears the safer course, even if appearances are deceiving. The controversy is part of a fundamental debate whether the Jewish people must passively await their redemption which will be a one-shot deal or they are enjoined to make preparations and sacrifices in both senses of the word to prepare the stage for their redemption. If you subscribe to the second approach, then one can hardly find a cause more worthy than restoring the Korban Pesach to its pride of place as a symbol of Jewish unity.
The Sanhedrin also had these statements at its site:

...participate in a Korban Pesach,
in the event that the service can be performed on Passover, 5770 (2010)...

Korban Pesach is obligatory for all Jewish men, women and children.
Korban Pesach has historically accompanied periods of moral revival and spiritual rededication.
Korban Pesach has always been a symbol of our Jewish Unity and Identity.
The spiritual imperative of Korban Pesach is so strong that failure to participate can bring karet or spiritual cutting off from the nation.
The Temple is not a pre-requisite for bringing the Korban Pesach.
100 years after the destruction of the Temple, Rabban Gamliel commanded his servant to roast the Korban Pesach. (Pesachim 87b)
Note: "Korban Pesach" means "offering Passover" or Passover sacrifice.

Whether the Sanhedrin will actually sacrifice this year is not completely clear. But the above again confirms that various Jews correctly understand that they do not have to have a temple for the sacrifices.

Perhaps it should be mentioned that there is a rumor this year that some Jews will sacrifice some sheep 12 miles northeast of Jerusalem on some type of altar. But I should add that simply killing sheep to eat them at Passover does happen each year, and this may not be seen as significant by many Jews as it is not actually on the area of the old Temple.

Many Jews believe that the sacrifices can only be done in Jerusalem. Notice the following from The Jewish Observer: Los Angeles:

The sacrifices may only be performed in Jerusalem.(Special Report: Celebrating Passover. The Jewish Observer: Los Angeles. March 22-28, 2010)

Thus, many will discount the importance of sacrifices outside of Jerusalem--especially if they are only annual sacrifices (like just for Passover).

Now from a biblical perspective, at a point of time in the end, regular sacrifices will have to be stopped. Here are three biblical prophecies about this:

27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,
Even until the consummation, which is determined,
Is poured out on the desolate. (Daniel 9:27)

31 And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation. (Daniel 11:31)

11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days. (Daniel 12:11)

It should be understood that in order for Daniel 11:31 and 12:11 to be fulfilled, the Jews would need to have "daily", not just annual sacrifices (it is the "daily" that are stopped by the forces of the King of the North in the end time). And that likely would require the deal in Daniel 9:27 (which probably will not directly mention sacrifices) along with some type of official government acceptance to be implemented.

But the reality is that if enough Jews want the sacrifices, the government in Israel eventually will allow them. And the Bible shows that at some time sacrifices will be stopped, thus they first need to start. This is getting closer.
