I have been invited to watch the play "Jesus Christ Superstar" and was wondering if anyone out there in Ritaland has seen it and would you recommend it or would I be offended by it. Some people are of the mindset that if the name "Jesus" is in the title, it must be Christian. Your comments would be appreciated.

This play is utterly blasphemous.

The whole opera presents Jesus seen through the eyes of Judas.

The play bases Christ as a man, not as God or deity.

Stay away from this, it's filled with evil and distortion.

Agree with Donna, that play has rubbed me wrong for many years. Just the title alone is very rude and unholy to even use in the same sentence with Jesus' name! Jesus is not a "superstar" He is God, and there is a difference in the two titles that is unmeasurable!

I chose to not see it because of the irreverant and profane things I was hearing about it against the true Christ...

I agree with Donna and Melissa, stay away from this piece of garbage..

To my knowledge,there has only been one movie or
play.Of that name.
It is (HORRIBLE).Under no circumstance,would vessel
ever go to that.
