Every day it is something new! We hopefully are praying while we remain that every underhanded thing this president is cooking up, will be exposed --- in TIME for citizens to reject it.

The resident and his cohorts in crime are like watching a train wreck. The train that is coming off the tracks is America. You cannot watch the television without the resident reading his latest speech from a teleprompter. I would love to support this administration, but I just can't support evil and a socialist government.

Here in Australia they would have a referendum of the voters (of the 50 states) to decide something like this - with an extended campaign on the issue beforehand.

The people of Puerto Rico have already had several votes of their own people regarding statehood and have voted against it every time. Do you really think they should be "granted statehood" even if the people are against it? This is just another cynical power grab looking for more representation for the democratic party as they know they are going to lose a lot of seats in the House and Senate come November. This is purely political.

This is why they are also putting amnesty for illegals on the fast track. Also giving convicted felons a vote. As well as giving the District of Columbia representation...which our Founding Fathers expressly forbid. All this just makes me sick.

I've stopped watching the news altogether, b/c it's just too depressing to watch--PERIOD!!!

no i didnt read the article , but they have been a territry foir far to long , they should have been a state a long time ago imo, so should guam . actually belize should have been one aswell. And fi they would have made Cuba one way back we could have saved a bunch of trouble.
