On Sunday 7th December RideSafe BackSafe, is organising a Christmas Toy Run for Derian House Children’s Hospice in Chorley, Lancashire and we want your help

Any donations of toys or gifts, suitable for any children from toddlers to teenagers, will be warmly welcomed

Derian House provides specialist palliative respite and terminal care for babies and children suffering from terminal illnesses and severe disabilities that usually mean they will not make it to adulthood.

They have 9 beds at the hospice, but we can offer care to more than 250 children in any one year. The hospice receives very little government support so their existence relies on donations and gifts such as this.

If anyone wanting to take part can bring a toy along and meet at The Top Barn, Rivington on Sunday 7th December, before leaving at 10.30 a.m. and following a planned route to the hospice in Astley village that would be great.
