New to the site and relatively new to surfing and love it. Bought my first board recently. Site is good...but does anyone meet up in Cork to chat, socialise about surfing???? Cant believe there's not an active club here!! It all seems to go in Dublin and thats about it!! Help...I'm getting really frustrated...

Hi all,
I am a surfer from Australia who will be in Ireland for 2 weeks in July. I would love to have a surf while in your country. Im travelling with my wife and daughter and as such Im not bringing boards so would need to hire/borrow board and wettie. Ive been surfing for nearly 40 yrs and ride a 6'5" thruster at present but wil ride almost anything. I come from the mid north coast of New South Wales - a great surf spot called Scotts Head (home of Trent Munro). Will be extremely happy to return the favour and show you round my local breaks. Can even provide accommodation for you. Any help greatly appreciated.
