Very nice site...thank you for all your hard work! I am descended thru John Owsley 1783-1811. You give a lot of exact details and dates for John Owsley(1757-1845). My research found that he took several trips from Claiborne County, across Kentucky to Indiana to take legal care of his 5 grandchildren who lost their father (his son) in the war of 1812.

I found my way here while investigating a match (2-4th cousin) on FTDNA. It appears that I am a direct descendant of Thomas Owsley II and Ann Hudson (and actually a paper-trail 8th cousin to the FTDNA match).
