Great website, I came here after listening to Al singing April Showers from the album stars of the 30s. It seems in the USA things of the past seem to be removed, I’m referring to the Jolson 59th street theatre which is now gone, why are buildings like this just torn down with no reference to them marked, it’s such a shame. I grew up listening to Al Jolson\'s music with my grandparents. It holds a special place in my heart and I still listen regularly, and watch Larry Parks doing a fantastic job in the Jolson Story. I came across this site and I\'m so glad that Jolson\'s legacy is living on.

I\'ve loved Al Jolson since I was just a lad - my parents used to play him on the record player every night while I took a bath!

Today, that tradition is still going strong, I get my rubber ducky and my bubbling bath soap and put my favorite Al Jolson song (Sunny Boy) on repeat until it\'s time for bed.

I\'m glad that others share the same sentiment about this wonderful artist.
