Was stationed 26th Signal C Company 1974-76. Stationed at a remote site 261 Stocksberg Germany. Then assigned site 29. Was also 11th signal 78-81 in Wurzberg. Worked in the relay platoon eventually as Team chief/Platoon for several relay rigs.

My dad Michael Bowman was stationed in Montabaur when I was just a baby. Later he would be stationed in Giessen where I went to elementary school. I always remember Montabaur because my dad loved to go fishing there at a big man made pond that would be crammed full of people. I used to go with him almost every weekend. I remember the castle sitting on the hill as we drove to go fishing on Saturday or Sunday mornings.
