I was stationed at the 62Aviation from November 1982 to January 1986. I was in the signal platoon working for SSG Boozer and SGT Capehart.

Looking for some old friends: Jimmy Moreno, Dale Slider, John Metz. Dawn Koontz and Jennifer Croft.

I miss the beer, John’s and the little pizza place near the kasern.

Spent 12 years in Munich and Bad Toelz as a student and then working for the University of Maryland Munich Campus and finally USMCA Bad Toelz and USMCA Munich as a Civilian employee. 1977-1989. Before that grew up in Frankfurt / Heidelberg / Mannheim area as Department of Army Civilian Dependent, 1962-1977, graduating from Heidelberg American High School. Would not trade these experiences for the world. Left Germany in 1989, but return \"home\" regularly and will continue to do so until unable to travel.

As a child I lived in BK in 1958 & 1959. My Dad, George Anderson, was a civilian engineer who worked with the 580th teaching the soldiers how to fuel the rockets. I was just interested in seeing if there\'s anybody still on this site that would have remembered him. I\'m thinking not but you never know.
