To start building up training for autumn 10km PB success we are going to repeat a 2 week training block 3x. Tuesday's session was 3x2M at 10km/HM speed and tonight's session will be 3x1M at 5km pace with 90s jog recovery. We will be using a new course on the Grange. Saturday's track will be 5x 800m at 3km pace also with 200m jog recovery.
Week 2 will start with 6x1M at St Paul's with the usual 90s recovery at 10km pace. Thursday 17th will be 6x 500m at 1500m pace with 2 minutes jog recovery and Saturday 19th you can look forward to 16x 200m 800m pace with 90s jog recovery. We'll see how this goes and if you're enjoying it the idea is to repeat these blocks twice:)
