Mortons Neuroma

Has anybody at the club had to deal with this condition in their feet? If so, how have you managed to overcome it and carry on running? Thanks

Re: Mortons Neuroma

I know someone who has had this...I'll ask him but I think he may have had some fancy procedure done in the end.

Re: Mortons Neuroma

I have Morton’s toe which I think is different from Mortons Neuroma. I started getting pain in my second toe which eventually led to a metatarsal problem. I now have custom made orthotics with a small raised ridge in the upper section which has helped a lot. I found that wearing narrow shoes especially in the toe box aggravated the pain I had in my toe. So having a wide toe box could help. Your toes then have space to spread. Don’t wear tight socks either. Gentle toe stretches also help - scrunching your toes and then releasing. I hope you find a cure.
