Much love from a very excited and proud midweek league rep!
So thrilled about this! I thought we'd done well but that's just the best news yet
Our turnout this year has been brilliant, and so has our running - well done everyone
Proud Squirrel
Amazing results! Well done everyone. Thank you to all the marshals you were amazing though the park, really helped keep me running when I really wanted to stop. Congratulations NHRR 👏👏👏
That's great news!
Well done everyone and BIG thank you to the marshals and all the helpers - your cheering was much appreciated last night; a real lift in a tough race.
That's made my day.
Fantastic result everyone well done to those who ran lastnight was gutted I couldn't run but actually marshalling was a very positive experience too because the amount of people who said thankyou marshal was incredible..
I ran the first two but have since been down with virus and the heat has beat my I'm afraid but hopefully I'll be even stronger fitter next year and can give it all another go.
Well done nhrr outstanding running
Superb news! 🥇
What an awesome evening! Thank you so much to the marshals and the much needed water folk! Hearing you guys cheering for us in that tough middle section made ALL the difference! And a huge thank you to those who had already finished but lined the final stretch and cheered us in!
Big thank you to for those on sandwich duty, though I must confess to skipping those and going straight for a plate of cakes! 😂🐷
Back with a bang. Awesome news. Well done everyone. Great feeling of pride wearing the running vest.
What a superb performance! Incredible effort to get to 2nd overall & congratulations to the vets and winning.
Thanks to all.the volunteers bwho allow it to happen
That is a superb result. Definitely made my day.
Probably our best result ever. I can't remember us ever coming second in the league and just look at those huge clubs that we beat. Well done. Great result.
A big thank you to everyone who turned out to support last night. Thank you to all the marshals in the park, the water station who, at the last minute, had to do 2 water stations. Thank you to the sandwich makers. Thanks to Adam for lending me his van.
Thank you to all you fast runners for making this possible. You ran superb.
And, an even bigger thanks to Ellie our MWL Captain. Just fantastic.
A great, great day for NHRR
Wow! Well done everyone.
When Katie ran past me she was so far ahead of the next lady it was inspiring and awesome.
There was a good battle going on at the front with the guys too!
Great event for us spectators too..
Totally brilliant! A proud day for NHRR. Great team effort last night and across the whole MWL season from runners and helpers alike.

To finish second ahaed of St Albans is just incredible! Along with Katie being first lady overall (winning 2 races and second in the other two), I am sure there will be many other individual winners and the Vets teams too.
Thanks again for all our super cheering marshals, that was such a help to us runners and to everyone else who helped behind the scenes to make it such an enjoyable and faultless race. But it wasn't just tonight, it was over the whole series - such great running and teamwork. Thanks Ellie for organising us all again superbly.
I think someone said after the first race that a guy from Barnet won the race, but didn't have the support of his team, who finished last. Well we've got speedy individuals too, but also a great team to back it up, both in runners and support.
Brilliant results well done everybody.
I always love mid week league as am very much a summer runner who struggles through the winter but this year has been the best yet. Great numbers and support last nigh. Good scoff at the end too.
hahaha!! Steve, you can say that again. I had two plates of cakes lolol!!
Thanks Darren, I'd just noticed it, so had members of Yellow WhatsApp group. Not the race number I have - also not in the 'NHRR series', so perhaps there is a <35 years old BrianB,

Sure Ellie can sort it out/explain.
Fabulous set of results across the board from last night. Outstanding performances from everyone over the whole series to get to where we finished in the league.
We should always have been looking upwards and not just escaping relegation and last night proved that.
We went out with some heavy artillery in both the mens and ladies division last night and proved our class and strength in depth as a club. To finish 2nd overall in the top division is a credit to us all.
Thank you to the marshals and also those on the water stops last night. Really helped having someone proactive in offering water and words of encouragement as i threw most of it across my face
Lets reflect on this fabulous result over the coming weeks and then gear ourselves up for a serious attack at the cross county league come the winter months after we've all achieved a few personal bests in the next few months.
Happy Running fast squirrels. :chipmunk:
Wow - what a club. Last night just proved it - its not just about the running its the camaraderie we all have.
so proud - well done all!
Yes I spotted BrianB's great performance too...however James captured the results on his mobile so we should be able to find out the mystery impersonator!
A mystery to me too. I have a photo of our results sheet and we had no NHRR finishers between Tom in 18th and Matt in 21st.
I could not make it but fantastic result!!
So so happy to see this. Well done to you all for making last night happen. Seeing you all charge past was inspiring, with many of you running in little groups, working together and helping each other round. What a fantastic team!
I remember last year being saved by Karen supporting from the sideline and giving me some water, so was chuffed to help on the water stations this year. Being injured definitely has its upsides as have enjoyed this year more than any.
:grinning: :grinning: :grinning:
PS. You've all given me bragging rights for the next year over my SAS work colleague. :joy: :joy: :joy:
I felt super proud and super privileged to be running last night. Thanks marshalls you were great. I've never enjoyed running around stevenage so much. And such a great atmosphere afterwards. Well done to our super fast runners. 😆
Wow! Congratulations - A really great result to come second above St. Albans when many years we have had talent but not the depth needed to stay in the top division. With many steadily improving younger runners coming through maybe top spot is a realistic goal!
Sorry I missed this last race as I'm sunning myself in Southwold. Well done to Brain Bailey for being in the top 10!!!! What'your secret Brian I will need to work harder now.
