I am posting this a day early as I am away for the weekend.
The Fairlands Valley Challenge is on Sunday and so the best of luck to everyone who is running one of the distances, especially if you are doing the 50K. I have done the 50K quite a few times now and so I am doing something slightly different! :wink:

Points are awarded for every run of 10 miles or more as follows:
10 up to 13 miles: 0.5 point
13 up to 16 miles: 1 point
16 up to 20 miles: 1.5 points
20 up to 26 miles: 2 points
26 up to 30 miles: 3 points
30 miles and over: 4 points
Maximum points score for a single run is 4.
Providing home-made cake after a social run or other valuable services to running: 0.5 point
10 miles out to Pirton, back over Oughton Head and round the Ickleford fields for me this morning - I had planned to do 13 but quickly revised that down when I realised how hot it was at 8.30am and how tired my legs were!
A beautiful run round Pirton, Offley, Preston, Charlton and home. 16.7 miles. Nice and cool at 6 but the sun and cyclists soon kicked in.
13.1 miles for me around Quickswood route.
13.1 for the Scott Snowdonia Trail Half Marathon for me today. Jim McC did a super speedy full. Andy did 19.miles of the full before his dnf after a great effort.
34 miles at the fvs challenge for us today!

11 miles, started at 6:40am to 'miss' the scorching heat...mission accomplished :)
Tuesday- 10.2 miles around Baldock
Wednesday- 16 miles on the Baldock Beast route
19 miles for Kat burr, Caroline, Sophie and myself at fairlands challenge in that heat.
