Training Tuesday 2nd & Thursday 4th October

With the last of the Hatfield 5km series on Wednesday you may enjoy a social easy run with strides on Tuesday and/or Thursday. However, if you are not racing training sessions for blues and greens on Tuesday will be 4 x 1M at St Pauls from William Way traffic lights with 90s recovery. I was hoping to use the Grange loop but checked it out tonight and the light is not good. Yellow group session on Tuesday is a fartlek of 2/3/4/5/4/3/2 mins with 2 mins easier running to loop back and regroup. Purple group's session is also a fartlek of 5 x 4mins with 90s easier running to regroup.

On Thursday purple group session is 2 x Spring Rd pyramid, yellow group is 6 x Runnalow 0.5M reps with 2 mins recovery whilst blue and green group session is 6/7 x Sainsburys 800m loops with 90s recovery.

With the trees still full of leaves and the evenings now dark this is probably the worst time of year for visibility so if you have a head torch you might like to bring it to training. Please also make sure you wear hi-vis:)

No training Saturday as it's the First Saturday of the Month 5km followed on Sunday by our flagship event, the Standalone 10km. Happy running and helping with NHRR!
