Training Tues 27th & Thurs 29th Nov

Well done to everyone who raced at the weekend, fabulous performances from all:) If you raced then you need to enjoy an easy run on Tuesday but please still come to the club to enjoy a social run with your team mates.

Tuesday's training for blue and green group is a 1M warm up and cool down with a fartlek of 7 x 3 mins with 1 minute of easier running to loop back and re-group. Yellow group session is 8 x 400m along the Broadway with 2 mins recovery between each rep whilst purple group session is 3 x 1M on the St Paul's loop also with 2 mins recovery.

Thursday's session for purple group is 6 x 600m either on the Grange Rd loop or along Icknield Way with 90s recovery between each rep. Yellow group will be on the Runnalow loop for 6 x 0.5M with 2 mins recovery whilst blues and greens both have a hill session; blues at Blackhorse and greens at Dunhams. As numbers are reducing on Thursdays as we get closer to Christmas we may run the groups together on the Blackhorse Rd course.

No session on Saturday as it's the 1st December and therefore it's our Santa Canter 5km on Norton Common at 9am. This year we are raising money for Tracks Autism so please come in fancy dress with some spare change for the donation box:)
