With the XC at the weekend and 20 athletes signed up for the 800m visiting club coach session on Wednesday I expect there will be many members who will be looking forward to an easy run on Tuesday. You could always make some miles at half marathon or marathon pace if you are targetting these distances this spring.
There is no session for blue group on Tuesday as I feel you need an easy start to the week but any blues who haven't raced are welcome to join another group's session providing numbers permit. Green group session on Tuesday is 7 x Haymoor hill with 90s recovery, yellow group have a fartlek of 7 x 3mins with 2mins to loop back and regroup run at an easier pace and purple group have 5-7 x Wheat Hill reps with 90s or 2mins recovery.
On Thursday purple group's session is 3-4 x 1M at St Pauls and yellow group have an out and back of 2 x 2 x 7 mins with 1 min recovery between the reps and 2 minutes between the sets. Blue and green group session will be 5-8 x 1200m at Broadway/South View loop.
There will not be a track session on Saturday as it's the First Saturday of the Month 5km, where did January go??
